Many thanks to my wife for her letting me do this on her account...
Imagine my surprise when my wonderful wife sprung the news on me... WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!! WITH FREE DINING!!
First... an introduction to the cast of two from the Queen City (Charlotte, NC).
Me (shesgrumpyimdopey) -- the serious one. 27-year-old IT manager / cheerleading coach on the first real vacation with his wife of 3 years. And as a side note... before this trip, I lost 40 lbs on Weight Watchers. Trust me, it was oh so worth it!
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513335_4919.jpg
The wife (goofyisinphylly) -- the mastermind behind this trip. She did a really wonderful job planning everything out. Goodness knows I couldn't have planned it even half as well.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513322_881.jpg
The happy couple:

Most of our pictures are of our table service meals. There are some counter service meals and snack pictures sprinkled in. And now... a list of our dining excursions!
Kona Cafe -- Sunday
Raglan Road -- Monday
Marrakesh -- Tuesday
Artist Point -- Wednesday
San Angel Inn -- Thursday
Boma -- Friday
Concourse Steakhouse -- Saturday
And now... on to the good stuff!

We arrived at the world late Saturday afternoon, unpacked our bags, and headed straight for MGM. Saw Fantasmic. Was fantastic.
Next morning, we had our first TS meal of the day: breakfast at Kona.
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v116/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30508873_5185.jpg
We arrived early for our ADR and were seated within 10 minutes. We started with a pot of french press Kona coffee. This might have possibly been the best coffee I've ever tasted. Coincidentally enough, there is now a French press and a canister of Kona coffee in our kitchen.
I had the steak and eggs...
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v116/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30508876_6301.jpg
... while DW had the Tonga toast.
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v116/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30508877_6676.jpg
Although the steak was a little overdone to my liking, I still enjoyed my steak and eggs. I enjoyed DW's Tonga toast even more. The Tonga toast was crispy on the outside, with lots of banana in the middle. Perfectly done, and very rich. YUM-O!
The happy couple at breakfast:
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v116/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30508921_4228.jpg
Then it was off to AK for the morning / afternoon. We used a snack credit for a pretzel. Warm and soft, just as a pretzel should be. Sorry, no picture of the pretzel. She ate it before I could snap it.
Later that afternoon, we made our first venture to MK. Our first destination was to find something to eat, and we wound up at Cosmic Rays. We both got a bacon cheeseburger. I had fries, while DW had apple slices.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30509804_4269.jpg
We both agree that the food was okay, on par with Wendy's. DW liked the selections at the toppings bar.
Between AK and MK, we went back to POFQ for a Long Island Iced Tea and a siesta. The flavor was okay, but the drink overall was a little weak.
This wraps up our first full day!

We decided to make our second full day sort of a down day, so off to Typhoon Lagoon we went! After a hard morning of floating down the lazy river...
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510811_1644.jpg
...we split a chicken wrap from Typhoon Tilly's. The CM at the register was kind enough to give us each a Mickey bar. The chicken wrap was kinda gristly, but the Mickey bars were superb!
Later that evening, it was off to Pleasure Island and one of the highlights of our trip: Raglan Road.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510382_9134.jpg
Now I'd like to make a note that the majority of my souvenirs consisted of alcoholic beverages. Having said that, here was the beer flight I had. From left to right: Tucher Hefeweizen, Stella Artois, Kronenbourg 1667, and Boddington's.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510384_9642.jpg
Out of all the beers on this flight, I liked Boddington's the best. I'm not a big fan of beers I have to add fruit to.
For our appetizers, I had the drunken chicken because the salmon delivery had not come in that day. It was okay... not very spicy, but a nice presentation.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510385_9895.jpg
DW had the Goats Town: fried goat cheese with greens and cranberry chutney. It was very rich and filling, and it could almost serve as a full meal. It was her favorite appy of the entire trip.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510386_148.jpg
For my entree, I had the Pie in the Sky. Glorified chicken pot pie. But it was REALLY good glorified chicken pot pie. All of the flavors blended together just right.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510387_402.jpg
DW's entree was Paddy's Pork: pork loin with honey soy sauce on top of mashed potatoes. DW does not like soy sauce. But according to the waiter, it should not have been overly strong on the soy. DW was lied to. She felt it was too much soy... would've liked it without the sauce.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510388_657.jpg
Finally, dessert! I had the Dunbrody Kiss: CHOCOLATE!!!! I absolutely loved this dessert. Very rich and chocolatey!
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510390_1165.jpg
DW's dessert was Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding. To this day, she still has dreams about it. In her opinion, it was definitely one of the top 2 desserts on our trip.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510391_1417.jpg

Great start! We are heading back in April and the only restaurant we really wanted to repeat from our last trip in September was Raglan Road. we will also be going to a bunch of your other choices so I am looking forward to the rest of your reviews!;)

Thanks for all the replies!
Our next full day at Disney started with an early excursion to MK. DW was thrilled!
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30510849_274.jpg
We ate lunch at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. No pictures here... sorry. I had the BBQ Pork Sandwich with fries. It was pretty pathetic... but I was hungry enough by that time to eat it all. DW had the bacon double cheeseburger. It was just okay, nothing spectacular.
Later that afternoon, we were off to Epcot for our next TS meal: Restaurant Marrakesh.
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511218_6597.jpg
We heard that Marrakesh was often underappreciated, and we wanted to try something different. I have to admit that we were pretty disappointed overall with Marrakesh. It was by far the busiest restaurant we were at during our whole trip. Service there overall was rather pathetic. The entertainment was pretty neat, though:
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511219_6832.jpg
Now... on to the food! For our appetizer, we shared the combination appetizer for two: beef brewat rolls, chicken bastilla and jasmina salad.
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511221_7311.jpg
DW liked the chicken bastilla, but she didn't really care for any of the other items. I thought it was okay. Interesting flavors, but nothing that really stood out in my mind. The best part of the meal had to have been the bread:
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511222_7537.jpg
It was very yummy and delicious! For my entree, I ordered the roast lamb meshoui with seasoned rice:
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511223_7771.jpg
I wasn't a real big fan of the lamb. The rice was good, however. DW had the shish kebabs:
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511224_8002.jpg
DW was expecting more spices from the shish kebabs than what she got. She thought the texture was good, though. For dessert, I had the bastilla. It was pretty good. Not very heavy and overpowering with the sweet flavor, but it was a nice finish.
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511225_8238.jpg
DW picked the winner for dessert with the baklava. Very sweet and moist... definitely the highlight of her meal.
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511226_8468.jpg
After dinner, we took a leisurely stroll over to France and treated ourselves to a couple of after-dinner delights: the Grand Marnier Orange Slush and the Grey Goose Lemon Citron Slush
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511228_8949.jpg
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511229_9189.jpg
Later that evening, we hit up Pleasure Island... which meant for me another trip to Raglan Road for drinks! SWEET! So naturally, I get the other beer flight. From left to right: Guinness, Smithwicks, Murphy's, and Harp.
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511334_8597.jpg
I enjoyed this beer flight a bit more than the other flight I had the previous night, as you can see:
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511349_1894.jpg
Finally, we wrapped up our evening with a jaunt over to the Adventurer's Club. Great fun!
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511347_1453.jpg
The drinks we had were pretty standard fare, but still tasty. I had a rum and coke, while DW had a Smirnoff Ice:
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511337_9246.jpg

Thanks for the reply! To answer an earlier question, I started Weight Watchers in April of last year... so pretty close to 5 months at that time. Now on to the next day!
Our next day took us to MGM. We had a blast with the Tower of Terror, the stunt show, and all of the other sights there.
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511404_3480.jpg
For lunch, we both had a cheeseburger and fries from the ABC Commissary. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! It takes a lot for me to not like food, but this did the job really well. We were able to find the ever-elusive frozen Cokes, and they hit the spot!
After a siesta at the hotel, we went to an early dinner at the restaurant I was looking forward to the most: Artist Point.
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511985_3762.jpg
DW was excited about it too.
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30511987_4334.jpg
Because this was our "anniversary" dinner, we received a complementary champagne toast.
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512007_4277.jpg
The champagne wasn't too bad. DW thought it was drier than what she preferred. We drank it anyway.
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512008_751.jpg
Next came the sourdough bread. We both enjoyed that very much. It was very crispy on the outside, but not tough at all.
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512010_1354.jpg
For my appetizer, I had the duck confit with frisee-anjou pear salad, cherry vinaigrette, and duck prosciutto. Having never eaten a lot of duck, I found that I enjoyed this dish. It was very tasty, but not too heavy.
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512012_1952.jpg
DW's appetizer was the venison spring rolls. In her words, they could've used a few more spices, but they went very well with the sauce. It added a smooth tangy flavor.
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512011_1647.jpg
Next came the good stuff... entrees!! Ever since I found out we were coming here, I was looking forward to eating the grilled buffalo sirloin steak. And I was not disappointed at all!! It was quite tender (not as tender as a buffalo filet mignon I had in Colorado the previous summer, but that's to be expected) with a very good flavor. The sweet onion jam added a nice contrast. And the sweet potato-hazelnut gratin... wonderful!
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512015_2869.jpg
DW had the cedar plank salmon. There was no fishy flavor to it. But in her opinion, it was a little bit dry for her liking. Very nice presentation! She enjoyed the Brussels sprouts, caramelized onions, pork belly, butternut squash, and lemon grass glaze that came with it.
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512014_2564.jpg
After the entrees and before dessert, we each ordered a Wilderness coffee. Very rich! Strong, too! Alcoholy, DW says. Two thumbs up from each of us! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512016_3163.jpg
Finally, dessert! I ordered the famous berry cobbler and wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't a very heavy and overwhelmingly rich dessert. DW had some of mine, and she thought it was good as well. She wasn't a big fan of the lavender ice cream that came with it though.
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512018_3767.jpg
DW had the coffee two ways. Very good! The cake had chocolate filling. Melted chocolate filling. It was very very rich and delicious! And the creme brulee had a very crunchy top layer and a smooth center.
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512017_3468.jpg

We're back! Sorry for the delay in getting the next day posted. Gotta love it when something breaks at work.
Our next day found us at Epcot all day long. This really is one of my favorite places... especially the World Showcase! For lunch, we actually went to two different places. I had the Sushi Tokyo Roll at Yakitori House. It wasn't too bad. I've had better sushi, but I've also had a lot worse. DW had the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap at the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. DW enjoyed her lunch at Tangerine Cafe much more than she did her dinner at Marrakesh a few days ago.
During our day at Epcot, I tried the different international flavors of Coke. Guess which one I just tasted?

For snacks during the day, DW had a Mickey Bar:

There was about a 30 minute wait from when we arrived to when we were seated. In the meantime, we got to hear the mariachi band:

I decided to not have a drink with this meal. However, DW got herself a margarita. Sadly, it was probably the best part of the meal that night.
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512279_3811.jpg
And like every other Mexican restaurant known to man, they bring out chips and salsa. They were okay... nothing spectacular.
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512295_6342.jpg
For my appetizer I ordered the Ceviche: Seafood marinated in lime juice with tomatoes, chiles, onions and cilantro. Again, it was okay. Nothing really to jump up and down and scream about.
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512280_4054.jpg
DW ordered the nachos for her appetizer. She describes them in one word: soggy.
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512296_6674.jpg
For my entree, I had the combinacion Cozumel: Grilled beef tenderloin, marinated shrimp and roasted chayote served with spicy ranchero sauce, poblano pepper mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. It was pretty plain and average. There really wasn't anything that stood out about this meal.
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512281_4307.jpg
DW's entree was the Puntas de Filete - Beef tenderloin tips sauteed with onions and chile poblano strips covered with roasted chile pastilla sauce, served with black refried beans and rice. In her opinion, the meat was pretty good. The sauce was kinda rich and heavy, however.
http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512297_6989.jpg
Finally, dessert! I had the Capirotada de Chocolate Blanco: white chocolate and golden raisin bread pudding served with Mexican milk caramel. I was not a big fan of this dessert at all.
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512282_4553.jpg
DW had the Flan de Vainilla: vanilla custard in syrup, topped with roasted almonds. I asked her what she thought about it, and she made this absolutely disgusting face! The one bite you see in the picture below... yeah, that's all she ate. Guess she didn't like it...
http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v123/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512298_7302.jpg
Would this be a repeat for us? Probably not. While the atmosphere and setting were definitely unique, the food didn't really live up to expectations. Ah well, you live and learn.
Thanks for reading! Check back again soon where we brave the wonders of Boma!

So pleased to hear you and your family are OK. I enjoyed your review. I have always fancied eating at the San Angel Inn for the atmosphere but I've never heard anything good said about the food!

Dbf and I had the same desserts as the two of you at San Angel Inn, and thought the same exact thing! Took a bite of our own, then swapped and took a bite of the other person's... then all done. And I loooove dessert :lovestruc
That's one thing I hate about the DDP... dessert that doesn't sound great, but that I've already payed for, when I'd rather spend my calories elsewhere... like a Mickey Bar mmm
On the upside, my Plato Mexicano was pretty good :goodvibes

So we're on the next-to-last full day of our Disney trip. We decided to make it a down day and hit up Downtown Disney. We read lots of good things about Earl of Sandwich, so we decided to stop there for lunch. We were not disappointed at all. The best part: we got pictures!
DW ordered the Full Montagu: Fresh roasted beef, creamy horseradish sauce & cheddar cheese. Fresh made to order on Artisan Baked Loaf. Very tasty!! Warm and toasty and crispy.
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512835_7777.jpg
And I had the Earl's Club: Roast turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato. I definitely enjoyed mine. It was very warm and satisfying.
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512836_8021.jpg
And what trip to Downtown Disney is complete without a stop at Goofy's Candy Company and the rice krispie treats?
Here's mine: Dipped in dark chocolate, covered in reese's peanut butter cup pieces and sprinkles, and then drizzled in white chocolate. SUGAR RUSH!!
http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512827_5807.jpg
And here's DW's: Milk chocolate, pecans, sprinkles, and caramel. She really really really really liked hers. Unfortunately, some of it stuck to the box when we opened it. So mine was prettier:
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30512828_6044.jpg
That evening, we went to our only buffet: Boma.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513287_5760.jpg
They started off on a good note by having a card for us for our anniversary:
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513291_6743.jpg
There was definitely plenty to choose from. I had no idea where to start... so I went for the soup & salad. Below is my first plate: lamb stew, bread, and the oft-mentioned watermelon rind salad. I liked the flavor of the lamb stew, and the bread was quite good. The watermelon rind salad... I was not crazy about at all.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513292_6982.jpg
DW started with the crab soup, pasta salad, bread, and something that we couldn't remember what it was. The crab soup was fantastic... the bread was great... but she didn't care for the pasta (and I know this because she just made a face at me when I mentioned it).
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513304_3.jpg
Next go-round for me: prime rib, some kind of beef pie, and couscous. Loved the prime rib and couscous. The beef pie was just okay. I think it was the curry that I wasn't crazy about.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513293_7222.jpg
DW's next plate consisted of prime rib, blackeyed peas, and other stuff that was mostly unremarkable:
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513305_253.jpg
DW did a wine flight. They all had good flavor.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513306_506.jpg
And I had a bottle of Tusker beer. It was very smooth. Surprisingly enough, DW decided that she liked it too, and she's not a beer person at all.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513294_7473.jpg
And now dessert! The first plate (since for this, we pretty much ate off of each other's plate): zebra domes, chocolate mousse, cookies, pastries... zebra domes were very delicious! The chocolate mousse was pretty good as well.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513295_7728.jpg
And the second dessert plate: the bread pudding plate. Oh, and zebra domes too. DW thought the bread pudding was kinda soggy. I liked the chocolate rum sauce.
http://photos-696.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v113/29/90/61702696/n61702696_30513296_7971.jpg
While we appreciated the uniqueness of the flavors of Boma, it probably would not be a repeat for us. At least not in the immediate future. Well that leaves one more place to go: Concourse Steakhouse. Until next time...

Laughed at the flan photo. I have that exact same photo on my food review with the one bite taken out as that is all I ate of it. Yucky.
Good reviews. You make me want to go to Raglan Road. Gonna have to try that this year.
And I also agree with the Marrakesh review. We enjoyed the entertainment but I ordered the shish-kabob & wasn't thrilled.
Finally, good job on the weight loss. I'm a WW leader & think they are the easiest way to lose weight around. And it becomes such a part of your life that you can go to WDW, eat aplenty, and come back knowing full well you can undo any damage.

Great post. Your reviews are informative and your photos look great! You either have a good camera or you really know how to manipulate the lighting to get great pictures.
I was there in January and also really liked Earl of Sandwich. I think it's the amazing bread that makes the difference.
Looking forward to reading about your last day!

I agree with you on Marrakesh and San Angel Inn. Both of those places I think are more about atmosphere than the food, and that's a sad, sad thing. The one time I ate at Marrakesh the food tasted bland .. maybe Disney feels they need to "water down" their spicy/ethnic type food for the masses - which is definitely not me or my DH, we both love new flavors and bold tastes!
which is why we LOVED Boma. I'm sorry you didn't like it quite as much.... We noticed the soups there are excellent (I had a sweet carrot ginger soup and DH had a seafood type soup that was sooo good!) and the meats are good but some of the rice/potato type dishes are hit and miss and the desserts are pretty great. Actually.. DH said if he couldn't eat at Boma on our next trip then he just wasn't going to disneyworld! lol.
thanks for the wonderful review! can't wait to hear about your last day!

So glad we are not the only ones who were disappointed in San Angel Inn! I had read so many good reports that we couldn't wait to go. Our appetizers were the only things that were any good. We were 4 people and all hated our meals. We left there and went in search of food!!
Great report..by the way:thumbsup2

And I had an Itzakadoozie:

Both were deeeeeeeee-lish! Our dinner destination that evening was the San Angel Inn:

The reviews and pictures are wonderful. My DD, DGD and I are headed for WDW next month for our very first all girls trip and I have enjoyed the dining review thread so much I am going to give it a go and take those pictures. Hopefully I will be able to "share" our food adventures when we return.
It is sad about Marrakesh and San Angel Inn. I agree, the food really has been dummied up. The first time we ate at Marakesh in 2000, the server warned us about the dipping sauce for the bread. It was made with harrasi (sp?) and your tongue just about needed flame retardent LOL. The rest of the meal was highly seasoned as well. Very tasty.
We use to always make San Angel Inn a stop for us. The atmosphere was amazing and our kids just loved it. The food, while never stellar was always very acceptable. Now it seems on par with the Cantina at twice the price.
Maybe some day a new management co. will come in and turn them around.
