Planning a Wonder Cruise for July 11, 2002. Anyone stayed in 5001 before? Is it quite. 3rd DCL trip. Can't wait.

Hi, bvc314. 5001 is likely to be a very quiet stateroom. It's at the end of a dead-end hallway, so you will have very little traffic going by your door. You're below other staterooms, so you shouldn't hear much from above. You're over the Walt Disney Theatre, but people usually can't hear what's below them. Perhaps one of the best locations on the ship.

We stayed in 5013 and my family had the next 2 rooms down that way. We really liked that area. There was no noise from the kids clubs and little foot traffic. Most likely when the shows are going on underneath you, you will be at dinner or at the show. One night we happened to be in our room during the later show(skipped the dining room) and all we heard was the applause at the end of the show. It lasted about 20 seconds. The shows end fairly early so late night noise from there shouldnt be a problem. We loved deck 5 being central to everything.
