I'm taking my DD to WDW in August. I'll likely have DH drop me off the day before and spend a night at a hotel (fingers crossed for a good night's sleep), and then use the hotel shuttle to go to the airport at @ 6:30 in the morning. [8:50 flight, does that sound right?] So, basically here's my question.

Detroit Hotels with an airport shuttle included, breakfast-early-preferred. Which have you used? Which would you recommend? Which would you definitely stay away from?

We stayed at the Ramada a couple of weeks ago. It was fine. The rooms were a little worn but clean and comfortable. If you choose this one you will probably want to request a third floor room - interior corridors, the 1st and 2nd floors have exterior doors. There is a free breakfast which serves eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal as well as the usual bagels, cereal etc. Just tell the front desk clerk what time you want the shuttle for and she'll call him.

We flew Northwest (McNamara terminal) and left the hotel at 7:00 am for our 9:10 am flight and we had plenty of time.....sat at the gate for at least an hour. That terminal is extremely easy to get around if that is the one you happen to be departing from. I believe the airline said to get there 75 minutes prior to take-off for domestic flights.

The Ramada room:

We stayed at the Hilton Suites. It was newly renovated then. Many of the airline personnel stay there on their overnighters. It is now an Embassy Suites. It has free cooked to order breakfast starting at 5 am.
