I'm celebrating Ground Hog day today by test driving a MINI.:car:

I really am ready to order the new MINI Clubman S - seen it at the car show and done a lot of research online....but they're not at the dealerships for a couple more weeks. So, I'm building a relationship with my local dealer before I place my order. :rolleyes1

If your mini casts a shadow on a test drive what does that mean?:confused3

I'm not feeling great today, so I stayed home with my macaw for his 12th Hatchday. I have to go get him a cupcake to celebrate later on :)

Oooh, poor baby.....can I make you some chicken soup? Or is chicken too close to macaw?????:scared1: :scared1:

Seriously...hope you feel better.

As for the holidays...I'm celebrating "Visiting my baby in L.A. days!"
I'm going to check in on Tara Feb 7th-10th! I thought about sneaking in a trip to Disneyland but I don't think it's in the cards financially.....Next time right???

Well, today we have an AUnts suprise birthday party. She's THAT Aunt...the one no one really likes and smells funny. But hey...free food at a great restaurant.

Superbowl...errrmm....we go against the grain as lesbians are concerned....we'll probably rent movies and nap all day.

Rest of the month? Who knows...Im too busy planning Disney World to plan anyhting else.

Well, I wouldn't exactly equate Ash Wednesday with celebrating. :teeth: LOL.

Superbowl, that's another matter. My DP is a real football fan, so we'll be having a private party. Simple things this time, like my famous submarine. :teeth: Maybe some homemade wings, hummus, pita... nothing too elaborate this year.

Mardis Gras I am teaching so won't be doing anything special. Although, I do have a bag of frozen crawfish tails in the freezer. Could do those and pretend. LOL.

Nothing much else, I'm afraid.

My MINI test car did see it's shadow - along with our regional groundhog....so I guess it means 6 more weeks of winter. :sad1: But today was 43 and sunny - so I can take 6 weeks of that. :worship:

We are fixin' to have another big storm come through today and tomorrow. After 7-10 drought years, now we are covered up in water and people are starting to worry about dams failing. :scared1: There's one for a glorified cow tank between my house and the black-top that over-topped back in 1993 and access was pretty dicey for a couple of weeks (no actual danger to anyone's homes -- Thank Goodness). We'll be watching it closely. I think our big holiday this month will be Woo-Hoo! March 1st.

Honestly -- I never thought I would EVER say this (given I live in a desert) but I am really ready for the wet cold weather to back off a little bit. :confused3
