Global issues that are debatable...need help!

Ok, I have to do a research paper on a global issue that is debatable. I have done global warming for another paper and she said we can use that same topic but I feel like I've rehashed the topic too much. So can any of you help me think of a topic that I might be able to use? It would be very much appreciated!

I second Darfur and add Burma, The Egyptian Border and Hamas, Over hunting of whales/dolphins in Japan, and Over Pollution (not Global Warming, just that we are definately polluting too much).

The whale/dolphin hunting in Japan gave me an idea....do you all think that doing the Canadian seal hunt would be a global issue?

Or you could put a different spin on the environment and do alternative fuels.

Or there is India and Pakistan fighting over Kashmir.
