We're hoping to go on holiday to Hilton Head the first week in October, taking my Mum and Dad with us. What are our chances of booking a 2Br for 8 nights at the 7 month booking window?

October is not peak and HHI has many 2 bdrms so I would say your chances are excellent.

We've gone to HH in early to mid October several times and have always booked at 7 mos. Sometimes we've had 1 BR & this last time a 2BR and we've never had to waitlist. So I'd say your chances are quite good. By the way, October is a great time to visit HH.
