"Last Minute" trip at the end of March...what are the chances?

My SIL called today because they are trying to plan a trip at the end of the month. I know this time is VERY busy and it could be hard for them to find a resort at a decent price onsite. They are flexible in thier arrival dates 3/28 - 4/4 and would like to stay for about 4 nights. What are the chances of them getting res. and has anyone gotten a good deal recently? They are not picky about which resort.

That is Easter time and extremely crowded. Possible there are still rooms to be had but it will likely be real tough to find a discount on site.

I dont know about a discount Easter week!? probably not, but there is a chance they will get a room, I called the other day for my cousin and there was availability at CBR for the weekend before Easter, so maybe you'll get lucky!

have you thought about the Swan Dolphin?? they usually have availability, and there are a number of different ways to get a great discount there!

I don't think you'll find a discount for that time period since it's peak season. I called for friends and tried to get ressies starting on 3/31 - absolutely nothing was available. Things started opening up on 4/3, though.

This morning I just booked two rooms under a discount code from MouseSavers for March 14-21 at Port Orleans Riverside (Dixie Landings). The rate was $99 ngt. They also had CBR and All Star Sports for $70 during the time. We did not check deluxe resorts.

I used the web site and got a reservation for my brother and his family for this month, the 18th for 4 nites at the Swan. Even had government discount available. It was a really great rate for this late of notice and this time of year. Good Luck!

They booked Allstars for $119 per night. Does this sound right?

I have all Stars Music from 3/15 - 3/23 for 103. and change
and that includes tax also. I used the AAA card to get that rate.

We have cbr for 3/23,24,25 for 225 including tax water view and were lucky to get that . We have all stars for 3/25, 26,27 for 122 including tax. I kept calling to get cbr but that was all they could come up with other than a king bed room. I thought about taking that and me &two dd sharing the king and dh on rollaway but was told fire code won't allow it. I spent $26 dollars on long distance being on hold about six different times, they said they were extremely busy. Now might be a better time to call because they may start getting cancellations.

I got an airline employee discount at AKL for Easter weekend @ 50% off! I cancelled my ressie at the Coronado Springs for this deal. The CSR might still be available, but it was regular price 180.00 per night.

I just booked last week for the end of this month. There were still lots of choices left. Less $ than we have paid in the past, with months of planning for the same time period. Go to the discount hotel sites, or call directly. I found it cheaper and more choices calling directly to the resorts.
