Real life: DH has convinced me to run the marathon in '09. I've only been running for a month, and although I'm nervous, I'm also looking forward to achieving this goal. A couple of nights ago, we printed out the marathon application for DVC members, filled it out, and mailed it.

That night, I had a crazy dream: I was running along my regular route. A van drove up beside me and a bunch of guys in orange jumpsuits ran over to me an grabbed me. I tried to scream, but couldn't. Then I realized that they weren't going to harm me, they were holding my arms and running with me. I then noticed that the letters stenciled on their jumpsuits did not spell out a prison name. The letters were D.V.C.

I guess my subconscious was feeling that committing to the marathon is a little like being in prison! :rotfl:

Your dream sounds more like the Tower of Terror 13K than the marathon. Maybe your subconscience is telling you you should do the ToT 13K in October as a tune-up for the marathon. :confused3

LMBO I hope the dreams change to pleasant ones like of you crossing the finishline smiling arm in arm with a character

Bill your sooo baaad. But it's true, I'm sure by doing the ToT it would only help to iron out those nasty dreams LOL

Congrats Laughingplace on her commitment and I hope you have a wonderful journey to the finishline. :cheer2: Also hope to see ya at some of the other races :)

Congrats on the signing up. I know I had a ton of dreams leading up to this years Marathon.

I have to ask though - were the men in orange jumpsuits cute? If so, not such a bad dream  :rotfl:

Best wishes on your training!!

It's always easier to train with a group. :lmao:

Happy training.

Bill is right except they were in white (and crazy) at the TOT race - and they were trying to get you to go into the woods!!! :scared1:

Congrats on signing up for the marathon.
