Moving to Mission viejo CA. Annual Pass questions

Hi we just found out we are moving to a community called Ladera Ranch near Mission Viejo. We have heard people who have had a 5 day hopper and had 3 days left and traded in for a disneyland pass,because they are of lesser value. We were wondering if you could trade WDW annual passes in for DL annual passes?. Any comments on annual pass and moveing to ca would be greatly welcomed.

The WDW & DL annual passes are two different systems, and I am pretty sure DL won't take a trade-in.
