If I want to rent for 09', is now too early?

Mods, If I posted this in the wrong spot, I'm sorry. We plan on renting points from a member, however our vacation isn't until February 2009....is it too early to try to get a villa??

a little - but not too early to get a member.

they can make the reservation for you in March - if the resort you want is their home resort.

so be sure to say the resort you want and make sure it is the home resort of the member you will be dealing with to make the reservation.

Make sure you understand all the consequences of renting a reservation from a member. They may not allow any cancellation or refunds. You can't just change it at the last minute. You have no control over the reservation until you check in. The member is the only one who can contact Member Services about anything. If you want ME, the member needs to add it. If you want the dining plan, the member needs to add it. If you have a location request, the member needs to add it. Plus, if you have any problems at all, it's between you and the member. Disney will not get involved.
