Deluxe Dining Plan Question

I'll apologize in advance if this has been asked and answered, I searched a few threads and didn't see it.

I called Disney today to inquire about upgrading from the basic dining plan to deluxe. The man on the phone told me, several times, that all dinner shows and places like CRT, could be used as 1 dinner. Is that right? I asked him if it was 2 credits and he said "No, dinner shows can be used as 1 dinner." I thought those things would be considered signature dining and would use 2 credits?

For the life of me I don't understand why these CM's who answer the phones aren't trained better, it's sad when those of us on the Dis know the answers better than the people who work for Disney do :rotfl: You are correct, those are signature dining locations and they count for 2 credits, no matter what dining plan you use.

The man on the phone was wrong. CRT, signature dining and Dinner shows all count as 2 credits! I can't believe he's telling people the wrong info. That could screw up someone's planning big time.
