That makes no sense! Why cant they just say you can only add enhancements at home and still let people add them to their normal photo pass account?
Because that would be too easy and make people happy.

Who knows.:confused3
I do know though that they burn the CD right there. One of the reasons for the enhancements taken away. Maybe they were referring to the poly guests who were staying there on property were adding the enhancements to their park pictures which is what was causing the long lines for them. That would make more sense.

Hmmm maybe its just a case of asking the right question, the right way to the right person?!

Okay,
I just called and spoke to a rep with Photopass at the Poly. I was able to get the $25.00 fee as long as I brought the email.:cool1:
But unfortunately will not be able to add the enhancements. I inquired as to why they took that away and she stated it was causing delays due to the long lines of people waiting to add their enhancements. But I can still add them to my Park pics. I am okay with that I guess. I have editing software at home so i'll just make my own ;)
We had our's done last week at Poly and they just added the pics to our Photopass card. We can do edits based on what they said unless the photopass site blocks some pics to adding anything to them.

That is how it was done originally but now you can no longer add the enhancements as of 9/1. We are not scheduled until 10/2. There are some who will still be able to add the enhancements due to them booking before 9/1 but I was not so lucky. Oh well.

So for the $25.00 are you getting a CD at the photo session still? Or are they giving you a card to add the session photos to your photopass account online? Did you get the person's name that confirmed the $25.00 fee? I would just be worried that I book this session with the assumption that it's only $25.00, then go to the photo session and be told "on no, that CM was wrong, it's $75!" :scared1:

I have a question that I don't see as being asked by anyone....
We are not staying on disney property :sad2: So there are comments on the board that state that you can book your photo session 30days from the day of your arrival to Disney...not necessarily 30 days from your booking date (make sense??) Now, as I am not staying on property - do I need to wait until 30days until the booking date?
Annnnnddd...on that note, has anyone had trouble getting the date or time that you want?
Thanks Guys! :goodvibes

I tried making my ressie 30 days from check-in and like 33 days from the actual appointment and they wouldn't let me (and I am staying on property). I had to call back exactly 30 days from the day I wanted. I had no problem getting the day/time I wanted for 1 ressie the other I had to tweak by about 1/2 an hour...so not too bad! A lot better than trying to make ADRs!! :lmao:

I was under the imrpession you cannot add the enhancements to photos you upload yourself, in which case that would also apply to ones on the CD?

You can upload your own photos to the site and use them for making the books, etc. I thought you could still only add enhancements to the actual photopass pictures taken by the Photopass photographers. I uploaded my own pics last time, I just don't remember being able to enhance them.

BEFORE SEPT 1st, 2008
guests can buy the cd in the park for $125.... they can buy the CD with park photos and get PROFESSIONAL PORTRAITS done for $125 - so they got professional portraits FREE!!!!! FREEE?????? :confused3 wait a second. professional photographers are a step or so higher than park photographers. we are more skilled we are required to do more, we are trained totally different, we worked hard in the park to get to the portraits job, yet we are paid the same and have the same value. AND WE ARE FREE??? WE ARE OF NO VALUE.....we make no extra money for photopass...we are just a free extra. :sad1:
so we put value on us. we are trying to bring us up closer to market value. we are now $75 extra.... which is still cheaper than market value :thumbsup2
Cheryl- I'm not sure why you feel that your work had no value when it was free when you bought the CD in the park. It had value to many -- many of these people ended up buying the CD because it included a resort photo session. You are looking at the basics is that if someone wanted the park CD and was willing to pay for it then they got the resort sessions free... I am hoping to show you that many people probably bought the CD because it included the resort pictures.... a value of which could only be told to you by each individual person... for example I might have thought the park pictures where only worth $25 and wouldn't have bought them, but if throw in the resort photo session with the CD then it might be worth it to me to buy the CD so I in fact valued the resort photo session at $75. Each person would have there own opionion and some people would have valued the park CD and bought it for full price and gotten the resort session for free and some I am sure bought the CD where eligible for the free resort session and then never even got the resort session done, even though they could have done it for free.
You sound like you enjoy your job very much. I am glad you have tried to explain the reasoning behind the price increase to us. I have a hard time understanding why your importance is based on how much Disney charges for your pictures. Personally, that wouldn't bother me at all.... what actually determines your worth to Disney in my view is how much Disney is willing to pay you for your services, how much you in fact make from Disney.
If you look at the overall price increases, reductions in services, shows, etc. right now at Disney I would say this has more to due with the fact that Disney saw how popular the sessions where and thought they could get away with raising the prices to $75 without losing much of their business. Similiar to the stroller rentals. I just think many more people won't look at these sessions as a good deal anymore and when the price doesn't justify the expense they will opt out.... we were planning to have a session done next year for our 10th anniversary trip and after looking at the pictures on this thread and balancing that with the price I have decided it is not worth the price.
Best of luck with your profession. Again, thanks for coming to explain it to us... I was just hoping to explain my side of it. Hope there are no hard feelings. :)

I actually will get 2 CD's. One with the resort session (no enhancements, burned right there on site) and then the Park pics (with enhancements from the photopass cards uploaded)
I did get her name and I am gonna give her the original email with the july print date on it. If they try and charge me the $75.00 then i'll just politely decline. (of course I will inquire "before" the pics are taken):thumbsup2

Just returned and got some great Beach Club Photos....I just ordered the CD today, so I'll post some of the best ones as soon as it arrives. The Photographer took 82 pictures in all. I thought it was worth the $25. It was not worth me prepaying the CD though. I should have just paid the $50 (pre-price increase) and got the photo-shoot pics. We hardly got any pictures in the parks, the photopass photographers were few and far between and people were lined up waiting for the ones we did see. In my opinion, prepaying for the CD was not exactly worth the money for what we got. I also originally thought that you could upload you own pictures to be included in the CD, which is not the case either. You can uplaod them, add borders, etc, but they will not be included in the CD. Anyway, I'll post the pictures as soon as I get that CD in the mail!

We had a photoshoot at the Poly in the rain on 8/23! We loved it. It was so much fun. Not a drenching downpour, but sprinkling. To us it just made it more fun.
I pre-ordered the CD (ended up with about 100 pics from the parks) and paid the $25. We have 72 pictures, I think. Some I really like, some I plan to delete before ordering the CD this weekend. I will definitely post the best ones.
For what it's worth, I was able to manipulate & add borders the same as the park pics. Not sure if it is because of the date of our shoot or the date that I made the reservation.

I am sure this has been answered before, but if you have the photo shoot and prepay for the CD- can you have all of your photopass pictures on one CD or do you need a separate one for the photo session and another or photo pass park pictures?

Thanks in advance.

Just got back and got the photo session at AKL! It did not cost anything because we were one of the first families and we signed a model release. We received a free CD with all of our pictures AND the pictures were put on a photopass card which I down loaded when I got home. Don't worry about multiple photopass cards. I had 3 and all 3 are being placed on the pre-ordered CD.

WOW! I can not believe how much they are asking for this photo shoot. We had it done last year when it first started. It is so not worth $75!! We had maybe 5 or 6 good pictures.

We just left Disney today and we did the photoshoot at Wilderness lodge. I have the Cd with me and I will post some pics tonight... but I was less than impressed with out photographer. I am GLAD we did it, however I am also GLAD we only paid the 25.00. I would be very dissapointed if I paid anymore than that. We got about 30 pics and 1/4 of them turned out blurry, the girl that took our pictures said she had only been taking pictures with Disney for 2 weeks so I knew I was in trouble from the get go.
Like I said, Its worth the 25.00 cause we already ordered the CD anyway, and U cant go anywhere and get pics taken for 25.00, but I think I will just stick to my local photo place next year.:sad2:
I will post pics this evening, as we are still on vacation and will be out on the beach today.:goodvibes

Farrah~ I think those look great! :goodvibes I can see the one of you and your DH is fuzzy in front of the Lodge, but your sons sure came out adorable!
Now, essentailly if you preorder the photo CDs you'll need 2- one for the parks and one for the photo session? And you can no longer add enhancemnets to the photo shoots? :confused3 So, $100 for each CD and another $75 for the photo session? Bringing that to $275? :confused3

I have many more Fuzzy ones but didnt think I should post those. I also noticed I have a couple duplicates in there- Im sorry.
Not quite sure how the NEW transactions will take place..I got in right before they uped the price. I did ask if I could just get the pics put on a photopass card and she would NOT let me....I got the card, ut not untill after she burned the photos onto a CD right there at the desk. She also said I would not be able to add any bordrers etc to the pics.:confused3

Boy, talk about it's all about who you get as your photographer! I just got back from the WL about two hours ago (and where am I? Here on the dis wishing I was back at the WL!). Anyway, DD and I had an amazing experience with our photographer. She is actually a professional photographer and does Disney on the side two days a week and she took almost 100 photos of us. She did not rush, and she was very patient with my DD, who was a total goofball for much of the shoot! I liked about 98% of the pictures, a few I had my eyes closed and a few were blurry because DD was on the move, but for $25, it was a steal.
Once the shoot was over, I assumed I was going to get a CD burned right there, but both of the girls at the desk told me because I prepaid and booked before the price increase, that they would upload all of my photos on a portrait photopass card which was only for this session, but then I could come back the last day of the trip and they would transfer all of the pictures from the parks and portrait session to one card. I ended up with three photopass cards (one for the parks, one for the photosession, and one for the MNSSHP). I went to the desk today and there were two gentlemen there who uploaded all three cards onto one and I have started going through them all and started making some enhancements. As soon as I figure out how to upload some pics, I'll post some of my favorites. I did end up getting almost 200 photos between the photo session and stuff we did at the parks. Pre-ordering was well worth the money in our case, but unfortunately it probably depends on who takes your pictures and who handles your account when you are finished...

YAY! Thats great Lizziesmom. Im so glad you had a better experiance than I. I do agree that it is all about who you get to photograph you. I actually didnt mind the fact that I got the CD right then. I would not put boarders on my portraits anyway so that wasnt a big deal...also by getting it seperate it keeps those pics on a CD by themselves...I have already emailed a few to family and friends, However If you do plan on putting boarders on your pics then you would be better off trying to talk them into just putting the pics on a photopass card.:goodvibes

Lovely photos Farrah, I've just ordered my PP CD and when it arrives I'll post some of ours. I believe (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) but you only need to preorder one cd and that is currently $100. Then you pay $75 for the resort photo session and they give you a cd of your resort portrait session immediately after the session so that you can no longer upload it to the Photopass site and make enhancements. There are some other twists as far as adding the resort pictures to your Photopass cd at the end of your trip but I haven't really looked into those.
I like the WL photos and I'm glad that heath-and-javens-mom posted the blurry picture since that is one of the disappointing things about the resort photo sessions and why I feel that a lot of people are slightly irked about the huge price increase.

Farrah - your portraits are amazing!! Your boys pics came out great, I like the ones by the water/stream, especially of your youngest! What time of day did you have them done? Some of the pic's are a little darker in the background, but the lanterns add a really nice touch! (I also like the boys names as noted in your user name!)
Toyota Kitten - I CAN NOT WAIT to see the Animal Kingdom Lodge photo's! I have been lurking on this board for quite some time and patiently waiting for pic's of both WL and AKL...although the longer I lurk and wait, the harder my choice is getting!

Our session was at 7pm...I think It is a perfect time. I have MANY blurry pics but didnt think anyone would want to see them. I think that if we had a better photographer it would be well worth the NEW price, but as I have stated..Im very glad we got in before the price went up ONLY because our pics were blurry, there wernt very many different backgrounds and I felt rushed with my photographer. I do think that the WL photo session is a good one if you get a good photographer..there are sooo many nice spots there for pictures.:goodvibes

I believe (I'll have to look back through this thread for more definite info) that in order to get the photo session for $75 you have to preorder the cd. I would assume that the resort photo session is more expensive if you don't preorder the cd because WDW wants you to spend more money. I'm not sure how much it is if you don't preorder the cd.

I am sorry, I am just confused. I go back & forth wondering if we should do this or not- more do-able at $175 then $275 obviously :goodvibes
Cost to pre-order PARK Photopass CD = $99.95
Cost for Resort Photo Shoot if Park Photopass CD is pre-ordered = $75
Cost for Resort Photo Shoot if Park Photopass CD is NOT pre-ordered = $150
Regardless of Park Photopass pre-order, your Resort Photo Shoot pictures will be placed on a CD at the time of your Photo Shoot. You CAN NOT add enhancements to these photos.
If you only want one CD of all pics from your trip, at the end of your vacation, you can take your PARK Photopass cards to a Resort Photopass Kiosk and they will add all of your PARK photos to a CD with your Resort Photo Shoot pictures for an additional $50. You CAN NOT add enhancements to your Park Photos if you have this done. You do not need to order the Park Photopass CD in order to have this done.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have additionaal questions.

desiab -- great shots! The one with the girls is so pretty and the kissing one with the kids is hilarious!
We did a Poly photoshoot a couple of weeks ago and I just got the CD today. I wish he would have set up a couple of pictures better, but I did get some nice shots, our photographer was really nice and it was quick, painless and inexpensive!
Here are the best ones.

I wanted to share my experience. We had our portrait session done last week at Poly. We got in on the $25 rate and I'm glad I only paid $25 because I was very disappointed with the pictures. We had a 7 pm appointment and several of the pictures taken outside look as though it were the middle of the night. A few of them didn't even turn out because it was so dark. We had 43 pictures taken and make 3 turned out great. The wind started blowing real hard while we were outside so many of the pictures turned out bad because my daughter's hair was all in their face. But when he suggested we go inside, I figured he would take more inside to make up for the too windy conditions outside. Inside, we only had 4 pictures taken. Now we were able to have the pictures put on our photopass card and I haven't ordered the CD yet. We had 304 pictures taken so I'm slowly getting through all the editing and adding borders. Once I get the CD, I'll post pictures.

I too had a bad experience at Poly. Very disappointed in the pictures and the photographer. We were rushed because of a storm coming in and the pictures show it. We had pictures taken inside and when we saw how bad it was outside I asked about having more done inside, but she said we had already used the only spot they take them. Our hair was blowing every which way, the poses were stupid and many times the flash was too bright and whited out our faces. :sad1:

well I'm a little worried now since my pictures are next Wednesday at the Poly
If you want great pics done, call the WL desk and ask specifically for Dallas. She has her own photo business and does family portraits for a living and takes pics at the WL twice a week. She was amazing and took the best pictures. out of 99 pictures, there were only four that I didn't like! I should be getting my CD in a few days so if someone would be kind enough to tell me how to post my pictures, I'd love to post some of my favorites :)
Another thumbs down on the Poly shoot. I just looked at the ones we had done last week and all I had wanted going in was ONE good family picture for above our fireplace - guess how many I got - ZERO. Our photographer did not pose us well, it was lightly raining during a portion of the time, and I felt rushed. She did not have anyone after us so I don't understand why she couldn't have spent a little extra time getting them right. Now a couple of the adults only and kids only pictures turned out well, but so did the ones I took myself later that evening. Anyway, thumbs down for our session at the Poly. Had I paid $75 or $150 I would have been asking for my money back AND compensation for the time wasted...

Wow! Mickey Mommy, those are amazing photos! You got one great photographer and your family is gorgeous!! Congratulations! I got my CD yesterday but now I have to figure out how to post pictures which I've never done before. And I only got 40 pics and no where near as good as yours (in fact I can't even use most of mine). For anyone going in the future, I highly recommend getting individual shots of your kids. I didn't think of it and only, by accident, got my girls individually and they were the best shots. I only wish I (or the photographer) had thought of that for my boys. Oh well! I guess I was so focused on a nice family shot (for a Christmas card), that I forgot about individual shots. Don't forget!!!

Just wanted everyone to know that I just got back from WL last night and did photos on monday, 9/8. B/c I booked before the deadline and preordered the CD, I only paid $25 - and I was able to use the email from my CD group share which had another person's name on it, so no issue there. Got great photos which are worth the $25, but I don't believe are worth the $75. so I'm glad I had the opportunity to do this b/c at $75, I probably won't again. We got about 56 pix. Also, if you are at WL, don't do the photos at 4 pm - sun way too bright and some squinting, esp. with baby boy. They put it on my photopass card and I can play with enhancements today.

You'll need a photo hosting site (like photobucket) to upload your pictures to. Then once you have your pictures on there you copy the link to the picture you want posted, use the "Insert Image" icon on here (looks like a mountain), paste the link to the photo and viola that should do it. If your picture doesn't show make sure that you only have one [/IMG] in front of the photo link address and only one [IMG] at the end of the photo link address.

We had our session in early August at the Poly. I did try to request a photographer after reading about Richard on this thread. They told me I could not request a photographer. I was disappointed in our photographer and pictures. (One of these days I will try to post them). We were rushed and when she said we were just about done, I thought "is that it?". It did begin to sprinkle, but I still expected more.

My son remembered ... it was Luis. He was very good about going out into the rain with us. He didn't care at all about being wet but was worried about the camera. Only one of our pictures ended up totally fogged up and I didn't see any water spots. I am sorry that yours didn't turn out. We really had fun in the rain.

I would recommend doing it before dinner. That way if dinner runs late nobody will feel rushed and nobody will have food on them or in their teeth (would happen to my family). And I would think that 7pm at the end of Nov. will be dark already.

We had our photoshoot at the Poly on Saturday evening (6:30 pm). I rec'd a call on Friday evening confirming and reminding me to bring my email as the prices had gone up. When we checked in they were advertising the normal photopass info, no signs about only getting those pics on one cd. I told the person calling that we were on our second honeymoon, having just renewed our vows on the disney cruise and she said she would make a note. When we got there, we were way early, so we just walked around inside the poly for a bit. When we did check in, our photographer wasn't ready yet (but it was still before our time). A few minutes later she came in and we paid our $25 (plus tax) to the cashier. We were then on our way. She was an amazing photographer. She took more than 50 photos of the two of us. Some with our bride/groom ears and some without. Some with the castle in the background, the Grand Floridian and the poly in the backgrounds. Most were outside, but she made a point of getting us so we weren't looking into the sun as much as possible. She chided herself for getting a person in one of our photos, but we had many more to choose from. All in all, we had 52 photos, which she put on one photopass and then copied them onto another so if by chance anything happened, we'd have a back up one. I can tell you, I personally contacted a local photographer to do a photoshoot for us. A very well known one whose rates are very good. It would of been $250 for an hour or so of his time. We would have gotten all the photos on a cd (he does photoshop some) and if we wanted, could of had them posted on the internet. Due to expenses, I cancelled him and went with our Poly photoshoot. Our photographer was very professional, helpful, kind. I can't wait to get my cd to post some pics!

yes, we had our's done on monday, 9/8. showed email, got discount, no problem at all. they put the pix on photopass card and I got to do the enhancements. and even more important - I'm doing a photoshare from the budget board so it wasn't even my name on the email and they still gave it to me - this was at WL. best $25 ever spent for a lifetime of memories with family pix with first child.

For anyone who is getting their photos at the WL - did anyone have inside photos taken? I haven't seen any and was just wondering. (Do they take photos inside if it rains or can you cancel then?)

We had ours done with the discount on Sept. 14th at the BC. Our photographer was great with the kids, and took us to several locations, though I had to request some photos on the beach.

yes, I did my pix at WL and got the $25 discount with the email. and no issues, they knew exactly what I was talking about and even had special $25 ticket you brought into the mercantile to pay for it.
My pix turned out great so I will definitely share when I get them. we didn't do any indoor pix but I did see one photographer taking some in the lobby by the mini geyser and bridge.

We also had a photoshoot w/Luis on August 23rd - ours was 9:30 in the morning so it was actually nice and sunny - he was really good and took most of the shots on the beach, as that is what I wanted. I will post some when I get the cd

:rotfl: We just had a shoot w/ Luis @ the Poly too 9/18. I'll post the pictures when I get them. We got 79 pics. However, funny enough, my husband turned out being the bad squinter and I was worried about the kids. I had to delete about 1/3 because of the terrible squinting. We still have several good ones. I'll post when I get the cd.

We have a shoot booked for Saratoga Springs at the end of the month. I have seen pictures where familes dress similar and love them. We are a family of four, our two kids are girls ages 2 and 4. Any suggestions on what we could wear, without spenind a fortune. I would love to all do black or white turtlenecks and jeans but it will be way to warm for that... pics and ideas welcome..

It would be really warm for turtlenecks. When we did a GF shoot in May we went to Target and bought white collared polo-style shirts for all of us for about $15 ea. (the kids' shirts were a little less) and we wore jeans - DH & I in jeans, the kids in jean shorts. Didn't break the bank getting the shirts and the pictures turned out nice.
Here is a pic of the boys (all of our shirts were that style) -

We just had our photos taken yesterday at the Poly, we had Barry for our photographer, we were an hour late because of all detours because of the triathalon but he was going on break and said he would do our photos instead, after he was finished he noticed that my 3 yr old granddaughter was playing in the water on the shore throwing sand and just having a blast and he took about 20 phots of her just having fun as an extra, he added all of our photos on our photopass and said that we could add enhancements at home later.

Wanted to share a few pics from our Poly shoot a few weeks ago. Overall, we weren't impressed with the pictures but luckily we were able to get in on the $25 rate. I was disappointed that we didn't get any real good family pictures.

Yes, they are doing it at the Beach Club/YC... the desk is in the BC lobby.
You can book 30 days out as far as I know...
We did ours before the price increase on Sept. 1st. I *think* it's now $75 + the cost of the CD??? I'm sure the info is here somewhere in this thread :) :)

Can someone please explain the changes to this program for me? I read on another site this:
Guests who pre-order the PhotoCD or purchase it within the theme parks can reserve a Portraits session for $74.95 with proof of purchase (either email or receipt). Guests wishing to purchase only the Portraits session on CD can do so for $149.95. Alternatively guests who purchase the Portraits session but then wish to combine photos from the Parks may do so by bringing their CD and PhotoPass cards to any resort location for a fee of $49.95 (bringing the total to roughly $200).
ok so I pre-ordered the cd already for the $99 so when I go for my session I pay the $74.95 for the session but it is better not to add my my photopass pics because 1) it costs an additional 49.95 and 2) I can not add any enhancements to the pictures.. BUT if I go and have the session and don't use my pre-ordered CD but use it for the park pictures then I pay $149.95 at that time? Is that correct? Isn't that less expensive anyway?? I am rather confused by this. HELP eek I can't wrap my brain around these new changes.

I took pictures at AKL the first week of September. I've received my CD in the mail and just need to find the time to download them and post a few. We took pictures all over. One place was by the beautiful staircase, another was upstairs on the overlook where the rocking chairs were. We started out over behind where the pool is near the Huge rocks and the small bridge. They came out very nice.

woah we're back!
We ended up having two photo sessions, the planned one at GF but also one at AKL. Both of which weren't ideal!
I was pretty ill most of the trip and was looking very tired and rough for the AKL session, but the photographer definitely didnt help :( she just didnt seem to get the levels right in the photos and maybe the locations werent great either. The plus side was that she either didnt know what she was doing with the prices either, or I got her to lower the price - not sure which, especially considering the session wasnt booked before the price rise. When she told me the price I was very happy!
The GF session went wrong because of the weather. However, apart from that it was fantastic. The photographer was actually a photopass coordinator and really knew what he was doing with the locations, poses and the camera. We still did some outside undercover photos, but they were mainly indoor.
Best of all, I got the photopass cards from both sessions so I can do the editing. For the GF session I got the CD burnt on the spot as well so I have some photos to show people straight away whilst waiting for the main photopass cd's to come in a few weeks.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Although this is the official line, I think as with my sessions they are more flexible than this - although they may have only done that for me as I already bought the pre-paid cd before the new rules.
During the photo sessions the photographers scan a photopass card a number of times. So although the official line is that you get the cd cannot add enhancements, I think they have no reason to not hand over the photopass card as well at the end for you to take home and then add enhancements.

I'm not sure I completely understand what you are asking. If you pre-purchase a Photopass CD, you take a copy of your confirmation email and show that to your photographer. At that point, they will charge you $74.99 for your photo session. At the end of your session, they will give you a CD with all of your photo session pictures and you can't add enhancements to those.
When you get home, you can enter all of your Photopass card numbers into the computer to access your park pics, add enhancements and order that CD. You don't use your pre-purchase CD for your photo session pics. You just need proof that you purchased it to get the discounted Photo Session price.
Did that help? I'm sorry I can't be more clear but I'm not sure what you are asking.

i think you'll be fine. just remember the issue seems to be that they dont want you standing at their desk for hours editing your pictures. If you say something like "do I also get the photopass card to take away so I can order other products later?" I'm sure they'll give you the card as well as the cd.

We had our photo shoot at Poly on 9/19. After our pictures were taken the photographer said she would need about 10-15 minutes to upload the pictures so we went and had breakfast. When I went back to the photopass desk she showed me (rather quickly) the pictures and handed me a photopass card. She never even mentioned anything about a cd. She instructed me to take the card and add it with my other cards when we got home. I just finished making my enhancements last night and ordered my cd.
Overall I was pleased with the pictures. I would not pay the new prices to have it done, but it was worth $25.

see my post a few posts back, we had a session at AKL just over a week ago and wasnt impressed with the results. I'm sure the results vary depending on your photographer (of which there seemed to be different ones working there every day!). I dont have our pics to share yet from there as we were just given the photopass card and havent ordered the CD yet.

We did the AKL photo session back on 9/1, which was a Monday and they had just started doing them on Friday, 8/29. We were part of the employee sessions. They do these the first 2 weeks a stand opens up and this give the photographers a chance to work out their kinks and they also get a chance to get some sample photos that you will see displayed at the kiosk. We did the photo session at BC back on 8/26 and a photographer was Dallas. We had a small issue and she ended up help set up the session at AKL, it was at no cost to us since it was during the employee thing. Here are some pictures:

I haven't posted my pictures of BC yet, but overall, I do believe the BC pictures were better because of Dallas. She was an excellent photographer and that really made the difference. Also, our clothes in the above pictures were just thrown together to coordinate because I didn't want to buy anything new, where as our outfits that we wore at BC were better looking and really stood out better. I can say though that the AKL were fine, since they were free to us, so no harm, no foul!

If you pre-ordered the CD for $99.00 take the email confirmation showing proof of when you ordered it. (as long as its before 9/1) you then pay the $25.00 fee. If its after 9/1 its the 75.00.
Hope that helped. I pre-ordered mine in July so I get the $25.00 rate.

I'm booked at the WL for the $25 rate and it was booked after the price change. They are honoring the price for any resort if you bring your email with you.
That is good to know. :thumbsup2 We had a photoshoot at the GF in May and I'd love to get another one in a couple of months at a different resort, probably SSR. :)

So now the price is $75 instead of $25? Is there any way to get the cheaper price???

Does anyone have any pics from the AKL photo shoot??
We are staying there in December and I am trying to decide where to get our photos done this time, We have already done the Grand Floridian on our last trip.
I'm leaning towards Beach club or Saratoga... Any advice??

I would like to see photos as well. We may try a split stay between AKL and Wilderness Lodge and we may do a photo session again as well. We have already done the Grand Floridian and the Poly one.

There are AKL pic's back on pg92 of the thread, thanks to Carone0318! They are really nice photo's!
I have a couple of questions, I called today to book my photoshoot but was not sure where exactly to call. I tried (407)WDW-PLAY, and they had no idea what I was talking about. They then put me thru to Switchboard, who put me thru to a photographic dept who asked me if I wanted photo's for a wedding or for a family? I said family and she directed me to "Ashley" where I left a voicemail to book the photoshoot. Did anyone else go thru so many hoops to book their session?
Secondly, and a question I was going to ask when I spoke to a CM who knew what I was talking about.........but it looks like I have to ask you guys, the experts (!!) do you know if they do photo sessions on the weekend?
TIA!

We did our session on 9/22 at the Beach Club. We got 68 photos, which was pretty good with a 4.5 and a 2.5 year old. I am sad that we couldn't get any outside shots, since it was raining out. Overall, the experience was good, worth the $25, but I probably wouldn't pay more for it.

Just got back yest. (9/27). We had our pictures sunday 9/21 at wilderness lodge. All I can say the tuned out FABLOUS. Friday we had then taken at AKL not so good. Alot of the pictures were blurry. We wanted family pictures not individual. She had my husband and I even take them seperatly. ?????
WL gave us a photopass card and burned us a cd. AKL only gave us a photopass card. When I asked if I could have a cd they told me they are not doing that any more you can get that with the photopass cd.. I persisted on getting a cd then they did. We did experianced alot ot people stopping the photogragher and asking them to take pictures of them in the lobby or outside. I guess people don't know much of the photosessions. I guess they think that is why disney put them there to take pictures at the resort like at the parks.
I will post our pictures when my DH shows me how to attachments. ( I guess I am not as hightec as I thought:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Just got back today and my session was a 25.00 one, done at the Poly. We did not get a cd copy but was told to add my pics online to the photopass.
We got 72 pics and maybe 3 are what I consider "good". We had no indoor photos, all outdoor ones for some reason.
Just my 2 cents.

we just made it back and in our experience, the AKL just wasn't worth the money. Our photographer, Justin, just didn't quite have it all together as we asked for family pictures. Pictures were blurry, he kept photographing just our daughter (even after I asked him several times for family pics) and the setting he used just weren't all that attractive. He seemed rushed the entire time. Out of 40 pictures maybe, there is a couple of our daughter but not one of our family I would classify as nice. The time was 7pm so there wasn't any squinting :)
As for our poly shoot...simply wonderful! Out of 62 pictures, there isn't a bad one in the bunch. A couple of them are superb!!! It was so relaxed and he took first the family pic then a shot or two of just our daughter. He spent 30 minutes with us and it really shows with the pictures. Our time was 10am but our photographer really knew what he was doing and no squinting. I wish I could remember his name because he was exceptional!
With our GF-yes, we were out for some pictures this time...lol- about 50-50. The girl knew what she was doing...always checking our daughter's braids so they were both forward or backward, straighting her skirt, straightening a collar or tucking that bra strap..LOL..but she went above in making sure things were right before snapping the shot. The only down fall was it was a 11:30am shoot and the sun was blazing.
I would definitely recommend the Poly and GF but no way when it comes to the AKL. I think its still to new and they need more practice and see what scenery makes a better background.
JMO :)
As soon as I get our CD, I'll post pictures for all.

I haven't posted my pictures of BC yet, but overall, I do believe the BC pictures were better because of Dallas. She was an excellent photographer and that really made the difference.
We just got back late last night. We did a photo session at Poly and GF. We also had Dallas at the Poly shoot. She was wonderful! I am going through the pictures now. We had over 100 pictures from GF and around 150 from the Poly. I will post them when I get them uploaded.

We did the GF on 9-21-08 at 7:00 PM. Over 100 photos.
(Photos to come in the next post... I uploaded the Poly shot first.)
And we did the Poly on 9-25-08 also at 7:00 PM. Over 150 pictures.

We got cleaned up for the Poly shoot. We were at the TL that day. I was doing good to get all 9 of us matching for the Poly. I told them not to worry about matching at the GF. Yet when we were heading over to GF they were worried that we didn't match... I guess they didn't check the schedule to see that it was brown day. ;)

Beautiful pictures, everyone!!!:goodvibes
I'm thinking of planning on doing a photo shoot at the GF on our upcoming December trip, and I have a few questions...
1. Is the $25 offer that comes with the PhotoPass preorder CD still good?
2. How far in advance can you book a photo session?
3. Do the photos get put on your PhotoPass CD if you have one? Or are they separate?
Thank you!!!

2. How far in advance can you book a photo session?

1. They are still honoring the $25 price quoted on the preorder confirmation. No one has confirmed that they still have the verbiage on the confirmation email if you do the pre-order now.
2. Some say 30 days from the date of your arrival at WDW and some say 30 days from the date of your session. It really depends on the cast member you get when you call.
3. There are two answers to this.
The official word is that you will be given a CD after your photo shoot that contains all of the pics from the shoot and you CANNOT add enhancements to these. You CAN bring your park Photopass cards to a resort photo shoot kiosk at the end of your trip and pay $50 to have them add the park photos to your resort photo shoot CD. Again, you CANNOT add enhancements to these. If you choose not the pay the additional $50 to combine them, you will still be able to add enhancements to your park photos in the normal manner at home after your trip.
In reality, most of the Photopass Photo Shoot photographers are giving people their Photopass card with the pics from the shoot AND the CD. There is not telling when/if this will be changing.
Hope that helps!

We just returned from the World yesterday. Wow...it's tough to come back home. We did the photo shoot at the Grand Floridian, paid the $25 fee after showing them our confirmation e-mail and were immediately on our way. Our photographer was Jeff who was super, super nice and very patient with DD2 who was cooked from being there for 6 days. I didn't get all of the shots of her that I wanted, but that was absolutely a "her thing" and not at all attributable to the photographer.
All in all, the session was worth the $25 (would have been even more with it if DD was in a better place during the session) and we got over 50 pictures. It had just finished raining so we were a bit limited on where we could take pictures due to wet grass, but I was happy with what we got.
We did not receive a CD...he just added all the pictures to our Photopass card. I am still playing with them. I think it is a shame that their policy changed to give you a CD instead of on the Pass, but obviously, the CMs aren't following policy to the letter. Can't wait to keep playing with the photos. Our group ordered back in May for this coming December. The copy of the receipt I have does not have this wording on it but I know that $25 sitting fee was deal when we purchased it.
Where on your pre-order form or receipt does it show the wording about the $25 sitting fee? Is it on a second page of the receipt or what?:confused3
Do you still make an appointment 30 days out or should I try to call and make the appointment for December now?:confused3

Its on the DO NOT DELETE E-mail with the photo pass cd redemption code.
You can only schedule 30 days out; I was told today to just bring the receipt with me that shows the $25 on it at the bottom.

Thanks so much for the fast answer!
I just wrote to the leader of our photopass to see if she has this letter. What she sent us was the payment confirmation letter but has no mention of the sitting fee at $25 on it! Last time the payment confirmation letter was all we needed. I hope she saved the other letter!

I'm not familiar with the Photopass offer on the Disney site but you can still pre-order the Photopass CD from the special pre-order site.
Is that what you were asking? Let me know if not.

Here are a couple screen shots from our photo session. We haven't orders the CD yet, but when I get it I will post more pictures. We had a great experience both times! We had a total of 9 people and the 2 year old usually hates photos.
. GF photos to follow in my next post, as soon as I get them uploaded.
Great pics! Can't wait to see more.

Here are ours at GF from last Sat (DGD13 and me). I have to say I thought the photographer was very sweet and patient. But we had a 1:00p session and it was really hard to not squint, not to mention what that mid-day heat and humidity did to our hair! So, we got very few good shots. But it was a fun way to end our trip. Had tea afterward, then headed to the airport. :)

Resort Photo Sessions Available at:
Grand Floridian
Polynesian
Beach Club
Saratoga Springs
Wilderness Lodge
Animal Kingdom Lodge
NUMBER TO CALL
407-934-4004
This is the number to the main photo line. You can then choose the option for the resort you want to book.
Cost Breakdown
Let me know if you have additional questions.
ETA: It appears that most photographers are giving out Photopass cards in addition to the photo CD so you might be able to still add enhancements to these. This is not the official policy so there is no telling when this might change.

I just called to ask about the tipping issue. I was told that this is not a tipped position so the photographers are required to say no unless the guest offers three times.
The CM specifically said that they don't expect tips at all but will take them if they are offered three times per Disney policy.

I was just about to chime in on this. We had a PS at GF in May and our photographer did really good considering our 7 & 3 yr. old boys were ready to go after about five minutes of posing. :) We offered her a tip which she refused, so I pushed the issue and offered it quickly two more times and told her that I thought that she could accept after the third time. She was a little surprised that I knew that and only then did she reluctantly take the tip.
I figure it is just like any other service oriented position and if I get really good service I will tip. I tip waiters/waitresses and we spent more time with the photographer so I felt she definately deserved it.

Yup, they do. Especially if you are assertive, give it to them and walk away before they have a change to refuse. ;)
Both photographers were great and deserved it. They went above and beyond and got the 2 year old to smile for a picture which is not a easy task. I have had very bad experiences with photographers in our area.
I am not sure how much they tipped. The Grandpas said they were in charge of that. In general they are GOOD tippers. Sorry I can't help with the amount.

Now that I have lurked around on this thread... and read and read about the Photo session..
I have decided that we WILL do this on our Trip in November...
Now I have to decide which resort..
I am looking for opinions, or pics from the different locations..
This will only be my 2nd real trip to Disney, and my kiddos 1st...
I would like to have "Christmas" Pictures taken..
I was thinking about the Poly, and wearing Jeans with Red Shirts...
I have a little tradition of having 1 photo with my kids close up with Santa hats on,, ya think they will do that for me..
1 more question... Do the resorts have Christmas decorations around??
I would love any and all opinions... Also Going in November, is an AM shoot a good time?? Squinty eyes??
Can you Request a certain cast member to take the photos - if so anyone have a good one.. My kids LOVE to have pics taken and with a good Photographer, they will pose and pose.... I'd love to get tons and tons of photos...... But hey wouldn't we all!!!!
TIA !!

I called yesterday to book our session, and was stressed in thinking with only 2wks notice I may not get the day that I wanted. However, not only did I get the day (Sun Oct19th) they had a selection of times avail too! I picked 9:30am....for all you that have done these sessions, what do you think about that time? Do you think that we will have the squinty sun factor annoying us? They had an 8:30am slot avail, but I was thinking that may be too early for my group (well lets be honest, too early for DH:rotfl2: ).
I am so excited!

Sorry I haven't posted sooner, but our lives have been really hectic since we got back. We had two photo sessions, both booked for first thing in the morning. B/C we had booked before the change, it was $25 for each. I can't post the pics yet, because I'm still making enhancements on the CD. Our session at B/C was 9/7, photographer was Tom. What a mess. Took a lot of pics on basic sofas and things (hello, I can take those at home) kept asking us where we wanted pics- I don't know the BC, I did mention, um, the beach? And he took maybe 5 shots total of the kids. We were extremely rushed because you have to go to marketplace to pay, and of course, the woman ahead of me in line took literally 10 min. to decide, pay, and then ask directions somewhere. And that time was lost on MY session. Did not get a single great shot. Definitely not worth being at the BC at 8am. Second shoot was at the Poly w/ Dallas (AWESOME; she is great!!!!!!!!!!!). We were late b/c of construction traffic, and she just shrugged and said, that's o.k., I don't have anyone right after you anyway; relax, don't worry about it. She was wonderful w/ our kids, she took over 100 amazing pics. I have to admit, I wouldn't book 8:30 again at the Poly b/c the hammock shots I was looking forward to didn't come out. The angle of the sun didn't work w/ my DD, and her eyes were almost closed on every shot; (Dallas did try, just wasn't meant to be) but got other fabulous shots on the beach, looking at the castle, walking on the beach, waving to "mickey". Also, fabulous shots in front of the waterfall inside- really really good. and in front of the waterfall on the bridge in front. Then, at the end, my daughter drifted off and she kept shooting and got some great shots just sitting in front of the bushes; I couldn't decide yet which one to use for my Christmas cards.
Interestingly, I've spoken to one of the photopass session photographers since, they mentioned that none of them were happy about this change, and tried to fight it, but without success. That they did have to submit a portfolio of work to be considered for the job, although there are certainly different experience levels. Many of the photographers who get good reviews here have seperate professional studios, and work at Disney part time to get CM benefits. Also, bookings are way down since the change.
The way I see it, Disney-like every company- thinks with their wallet. If this doesn't work, hopefully they will return to a system that did-or at least make changes to make the new one work. To be honest, I would pay $75 if they gave a little more time and you were allowed to request a specific photographer. But it's too much to pay w/o any promise of good pics. imho. I will post pics as soon as I get them.

Here is a table of sunrise/sunset times that might help.
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa73/baerstaci/sun.jpg
When we did our photo session I looked and sunset was about 7:20 PM so we scheduled a 7:00 session for both Poly and GF.
GF was great!
Poly - they called us the day of our session to try and reschedule or move it up. They weren't sure why we were allowed to schedule a 7:00 session there due to it getting dark earlier. The latest they were booking was 6:00 at the Poly. When we got the voice mail at 3:30 we were at TL. I told them we had 9 people to get back to the resort and get showered, but we would try to get there earlier. They said no problem and what ever time we got there, they would make it work, but we might be limited on locations due to lighting. We made it there by 6:30.

IF you're going around the Christmas season, I would recommend the WL for your photoshoot (I'd recommend it any season). The indoors will be decked out for Christmas, and there are so many beautiful locations outdoors where they take pictures...by the forest, the beach, the waterfall, the stream, etc. I had the pics done in september and I loved about 99% of my pictures, and she took close to 100 shots. My appt time was 6:30 or six, I can't remember, and even at that time of night we were squinting, but our photographer had great ideas to get us not to squint or positioned us so that we weren't looking directly at the sun. SHe'd have my DD close her eyes and the count of three open them then she'd snap the picture...I think I only had two with eyes closed or actually squinting! I'm sure it all depends on the photographer though...ours had her own studio and moonlighted at disney twice a week for discounts! IT was money well spent and I look at those pictures every day :)

I am still undecided...On the one hand, it would be great to get it out of the way in the morning but I am just not sure about the sun situation. Also, the evening may bring crabby, uncooperative kids! I guess I need to make a decision soon.

Hi everyone! I have a question for those who did 2 photo shoots. Did you pay $25 for each one? Or did you have to pay $25 for the first one, and then regular price for the other. Thanks in advance.:thumbsup2
We had two photo sessions and the two fell on opposite sides of the price increase. I booked the first one as soon as my 30 day windows opened up. I knew the price increase was coming and tried to book the second, but they said it was more than 30 days out and I could not book it at that time. The price increase took effect on a Sunday and I couldn't book the second session until Tuesday.
When I called back on Tuesday to make the reservation I talked to the same guy and he said I it would be $125. I said "WHAT?!?!":scared1: I just called 4 days ago and it was only $25. He explained they had a price restructuring. I complained and was about to say forget it because he wasn't not at all helpful. He was very set on that. He then said since you have a previous photo session before the increrase the second one would be $75, but the second session would not be put on the photopass card. I again complained about not having all the pictures in the same place and not being able to add the enhancements. He again said there was nothing he could do and kind of gave me the who case attitude. He did tell me if I would have book before the changes I could have add them... I told him I tried to do that and you wouldn't let me because it was more than 30 days out! He said oh. :confused3 I was very flustrated after that call! I read about the $25 statement in the e-mail and was going to use it at the second session.
Anyway when we did our photo session the first set cost $25 and was added to our photopass card. She also asked if we had any other photo sessions. We said yes and she told us to take our receipt to the next session and it would only be $49. At the second session they asked for our receipt and it only cost $49 and at the end of our session they added the pictures to our photopass. :goodvibes
I think if I would have not mentioned having multilpe sessions and just used the same e-mail at both I could have probably gotten them both for $25 but I wasn't sure if the second set would have been added to the photopass then, so we just went with the second session at $49 and we were happy!

MickeyWanaBe, how interesting and glad it worked out for you. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to count on the correct information from each photopass rep. I just pre-ordered my CD last week for $99. To my surprise, my emails states my photo shoot will be $25. I called photopass and they confirmed with my email confirmation, it is indeed $25 for 1st sitting and $45 for second. I am anxiously awaiting 30 days out to make our appt. We are a grand gathering having photos done at Poly, hoping for late afternoon 4pm ish right before our Spirit of Aloha dinner show. I realize as a large group we may possibly require double sitting time. Until then, I am crossing my fingers my email is accepted as correct. :goodvibes

Just received my CD from our GF photo session and thought I would share some of my favorites. Luis was our photographer (he was great), our time slot was 9am, and we ended up with something like 75 photos. The sun was brutal that day and my husband's eyes are sensitive to light so he was having a really hard time keeping his eyes open despite Luis' best attempts to do so.

Thank you! We were on our anniversary trip (without kids)....I am hoping the pics we have taken with the kids (next year) turn out as good. Good luck with your session...where will it be?

I am part of a photopass share group but not the leader. Would I still be able to have the photos added to my photopass shared cd even though my name is not on the purchase of the photopass cd?
What options and costs would there be for me to do this with my family?
I have tried to read through the thread but with all these pages my eyes went bleary.
Cheers,

Unfortunately, we missed the price increase by 3 days (had not been paying attention to that part of the disboards), and so we'll be paying the new $75, so that's why I'm hoping all the trouble (finding the right outfits, giving up part of our day, etc.) will be worth it!
Again, your pictures really are beautiful (you should be very proud!)
POTZIE2: I'll try to answer your question, as I am in a photoshare, as well. It is my understanding that you order the photo shoot where you want it. You'll need to get the leader's confirmation e-mail from when they placed their order for the Photopass, and bring a copy with you. You need to look at the bottom of the e-mail to see if it says what the cost of your photoshoot will be (if the leader ordered it after 9/1, as our's did--he ordered it on 9/3--then the cost of the photoshoot will be $75; if they ordered it prior to 9/1, then your photoshoot should cost $25). Anyway, supposedly, it will say on the bottom of that e-mail confirmation. Once the Photoshoot people see the e-mail, then they'll know what to charge you. Does this answer your question?

Thanks again, BurleyGirl! GF is such a beautiful resort, especially for pictures. My only regret is that I did not ask Luis to do some photos of us walking on the beach...you know the one, walking while holding hands along the waterline (shot from behind). I also wish I would have just worn sunglasses during our outside, beach shots so they would have turned out (hey, sunglasses are a natural thing on the beach, aren't they?)...my husband's eyes were closed (or very squinted) in most all :sad1:

Thanks, I have contacted my photopass cd leader to ask her to send me a copy of the confirmation. I am assuming that even though it's not in my name there won't be a problem?
So if I understand it correctly, I show the confirmation and then the photographer will put the pictures onto my existing Photopass card.
If you just had them take your pictures but didn't show the card, what do they do then? Could I still add them to the photopass cd when I get home or do they not give you a photopass card unless you purchase a CD?
Cheers,

Brian, I believe we should not have a problem with the e-mail not being in our names (I read that on the disboards, so it has to be factual.:) ) Anyway, that's the stance I am taking going into this thing.
Also, I'm not sure if they just give you a CD with your pictures on it, or put them on your Photopass card--I've read about it, but didn't let it soak in, as it was not a big deal to me how it's done, just so long as I get my pictures:)
I'm not sure how to answer your last question. Sorry...

I put together a FAQ thread for the Resort Photo Sessions. It is a sticky on this board. You can reach it by clicking here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1972651.
It should hopefully answer all of your questions regarding pricing and set-up with your photo session.
Good luck!

I pre-purchased my CD on 9/7 and mine still had the $25 offer. I would check your confirmation again to be sure. You might be able to get the lower price.

I have heard from several people who have purchased this week that their confirmation emails are no longer showing the $25 offer. One such post is on the Resort Photo Session FAQ thread here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1972651.

Officially, the photographers are supposed to put your pictures on a CD that you will receive at the end of your shoot. You are not able to add enhancements to these photos. IN REALITY, most of the photogs are giving people a Photopass card with the pics AND a CD. You can take the card they give you and add them to your Park CD after you get home.

My photopass cd group leader has sent me the confirmation. Where should it mention the $25 sitting fee there is no mention of the photo session option on the confirmation. It does show the date purchased as August 22nd, is that all I really need is to prove that it was purchased before the rate increase?
I still can't even book it as it's more than 30 days out at this time.
Thanks for everyones help, I really do appreciate it.

Your Photopass leader receives 2 email confirmations. You need the one that is titled: Do Not Delete! Instructions for your Disney's Photo CD enclosed. The verbiage is at the bottom in very small print.
The other confirmation won't help you get the $25 deal.

Hi! Just got back from the WL and we did the photo shoot there at 6pm on Sunday night. We were scheduled for 5:30pm but couldn't make it in time. As soon as I can get them up on the computer (and get over the fact that the humidity did a great number on my hair) I'll post a few of the better ones. She took 65 pictures and I ended up with over 105 after editing them via photopass. So this is a reminder to myself to upload a few!

I just re-read the "fine print" on my photopass CD confirmation. It says "You must present a printed copy of this email to purchase a Resort portrait sitting for $25 at our Grand Floridian Resort location."
Does anyone else's confirmation specify the Grand Floridian Resort? I scheduled our session at the Wilderness Lodge. Think it makes a difference? :confused3
Thanks.

Your pictures are great--we got them done last year (Sept 07) I didn't see your husband squinting either!! It was me, DH, DD (7), DS (3)--and he was CRABBY!! he didn't want to look, he cried...but we did get a few really good ones. Our photographer took pictures on the beach (walking away & coming back) we had them done 1st thing in the morning, then we took our children to the doctor & found they both had ear infections (so I guess he had a reason to be crabby!

Thanks! We stayed 2 nights at the Villas and our photoshoot was on our arrival day. I really think that the 5:30pm would have had better light, but we were still waiting for luggage. And the humidity was so bad that it ruined my hair as soon as we walked out the door. Go figure! The person that took the photos was really friendly and knew where to put us. There were some great seperates shots too.
I'd do it again at the higher cost - if I get my hair done professionally (or literally use a whole can of hairspray)!

There is a big difference between daytime light here in the summer vs. the winter. The sun is blinding in the summer but much milder during the winter months. Does anyone know if that is true in Florida as well?
The reason I ask is that I am trying to figure out when to schedule our shoot. We are planning for our non-park day which is Dec. 11 at the WL. I would like to do the session after our late breakfast so probably around 11:45ish.
Thoughts? I'd appreciate any input. TIA!

Just got our Poly shoot done today and I am uploading our 55 photos to photobucket right now. I say we got about 20 good shots!! One great family photo but that is about it and all I wanted.
I am in a photo share and took the confirmation with me for the $25 and got the photo shoot for that price plus the cd even though my photographer said I wouldn't receive the cd. When we walked back up to the photopass stand the other CM had already downloaded them to the cd so I have the cd and photopass card.

These are great! I think this is what Im going to do. The hit or miss quality is just not worth $75 to me when I have the nearly the same camera. I think my plan is to pack my tripod. We really want to try to get a picture of all 4 of us at the beach at Yacht and Beach with Boardwalk behind us. Self-timer is a wonderful thing. Thanks for the inspiration!

I think that will be our plan as well. We'll be there Thanksgiving week and I'm concerned the photopass will be useless and the higher price just reduces the value by a huge degree. So the tripod seems a viable option to me. Haven't decided for sure, but it's the direction I'm leaning.

Take it and if you dont use it, no one was hurt right. I was looking into a remote but Ive heard that distance isnt that great and I dont want it to be obvious in the picture. So my plan is to set the 10 second timer and RUN to my spot LOL. Im trying to talk one of the guys over at The Magic In Pixels to come and take pics of my family for me...I told him he could sleep in the bathtub! LOL!
