checking bags at port for return flight

We would like to check our bags for our US Airways flight home at the port. We have an early flight, 11:15. I have read on a couple of posts that they don't allow you to check your bags at the port if your flight is too early, and I am wondering if anyone knows the "cut-off" flight time for checking bags at port. Don't want to stand in line to check the bags if they won't let us do it anyway.

I don't know what the cut-off time is for USAir, but I certainly wouldn't want to risk it for an 11:15 flight. I would bet that even if they did accept your bags, your bags wouldn't make it onto your flight.

Good Point Dave, well taken. When you put it like that, it doesn't seem so difficult to check them at the airport! :) I suppose we can just use curbside check in! Thanks, Sue
