I did a quick poke around different canon websites. I found the 450D on the European site, but not on the USA site.

In the US they call it the Xsi, but most other countries they sell it as the 450D. And I am not sure if they call it KISS(instead of REBEL) in Japan, they have used that name over there for decades when referring to what we call the REBEL line.
