Stateroom 6040

Has anyone stayed in this stateroom or in this area with any tips or inside info???? Noise, ect...?????????????

We stayed in 6040 on our Halloween 2000 cruise. It's a really nice stateroom! It's on the Portside of the ship, which we liked.
It is a plexi glass veranda room on deck six. Very quiet! The life/safety boats are underneath you.The 4th berth is a pulldown from the ceiling, similar to a bunk bed with a safety railing. My DD loved it. Our steward made it up every evening for her with towel animals playing with her stuffed animals. You don't have to use it if you have 2 or 3 people. It's fun for the kids!

The thing we liked was where it was located. You could easily walk up or down the stairs if the elevators were crowded. The room is located midway between the midship and forward elevators, so if you are going to the show or the night clubs, walk down and use the forward less crowded elevator.
