How LATE can you leave the ship?

OK. Guess what? I'm not going to fly out on the first flight out of Orlando to go home. I''m going to get a later flight. How long will they let us hang out on the ship before we're "forced" to leave? If you leave late do you have to stand in line for a long time? Are people called to disembark at certain times???

They want everyone off the ship by 9:00 am. Disembarkation is at your leisure, though, they do not shuttle you off in groups like many other cruise lines. You can usually get off as early as about 7:45 am (once the ship has cleared customs) and by 9:00 they want everyone off so they can do the turnover needed to get ready for the next set of cruisers. :)

As Michelle said, other cruise lines disembark passengers in groups, and that is the PITS!! It's one of the things we hate about Royal Caribbean. On DCL, you just get off when you want, and the wait is rarely ever very long. Disney has the BEST disembarkation process!

Last week we lingered until 9:00 - didn't want the Magic to end!!!!! We just walked off with no problem, no lines, no wait. They were anxious for everyone to disembark because the Magic was having a madatory coast guard inspection.
