Ok. y'all. Tomorrow is grocery day (supposed to be on my list of 3 things today but . ummm, no) So I need ideas for my weekly menu. I always get some good and different ideas from dis'ers.

So far have the following. I need a couple more ideas.

1. Cheeseburgers

2. Beef stew over noodles

3. shrimp and parmesan pasta

4. tacos

5. Italian sausage in the crockpot over pasta or as sandwiches

What else??? I have nothing with chicken this week.

What are you having this week?

Yep! us too. We aren't in the north but do use our grill all year round. I'll do the cheeseburgers outside tomorrow and it is in the 20s here.

Ya'll are NUTS! I am in Texas I won't grill outside when it's cold (which cold for us is like 50). I would never survive anywhere north of Dallas- way too cold natured.

We usually decide each morning what to have for dinner and just take out of the freezer what we need. I wish I could be organized enough to plan out the week. Kudos to you all!

I totally agree! Even when I worked (which was more like 60 hrs/week than 40) the closest to a "plan" we had was what I pulled out in the morning or threw in the crockpot.

For chicken or even fake crab (maybe with some salad shrimp) our recent favorite has been stir-fry with Soy Vey brand Hoisin Garlic sauce. We really like it the 2nd night (I use whole bags of veggies) - the taste is even better, but the veggies aren't as crisp.

Just a bit of oil in the wok (either olive or sesame if I have it) & toss in whatever veggies you like. Our last one was carrots, red pepper, broccoli, mushrooms, whole green beans & snow peas. After they get a bit soft, I add canned Chinese veggies like bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts & baby corn. At that point I add the meat (because I use pre-cooked & shredded chicken and the fake crab is ready-to-eat) and about a 1/4 cup of the sauce. I serve it over a rice pilaf I make. The whole meal only takes about 25 min to prepare if I use the shredded chicken or crab.
