Stayin at the POLY yipee ? about valet parking

I will be staying at the POly in August I can't wait! Is valet parking free for resort guests, I haven't stayed at a Deluxe in a long while and I thought I read before where they started charging is this true? Thanks

it is no longer free anymore. The only time that the fee is waved is if you are a Disney Dining Club member and you have ressies at a resturant there. They started charging last year.....:(

Just curious - what is Disney Dining Club? I have a Disney Club membership, but this one is new to me.

I think A MickeyFan is talking about the Florida Resident Disney Dining Experience a special for FL residents that gives us 20% at most WDW restaurants

Valet parking is $6 per day. Tips/gratutities are still appropriate.

Valet parking is free if you have a valid handicapped parking permit. (Tips/gratutities are still appropriate).

Note that the charge is per day. For example, if you leave your car with the valet for 3 days (even if you do not use it during that time), $18 will be added to your hotel bill.

Also note that you only pay once per day, even if you valet park more than once or use the valet service at another hotel on the same day. The valet should give you a special hanger to indicate you've been charged. Sometimes you have to ask for it.

Depending on which longhouse you are in, you may find it much less of a walk to selfpark than to use Valet while at the Poly.
