My husband and I will be staying at HRH in a couple of weeks and we currently have a garden view booked at the AAA rate in order to take advantage of the Loews First benefits. SO EXCITED!!

I have a few questions, I'm hoping I can get answers to...
1) If we decide to upgrade to a Club room at check-in, will we still get the Loews First benefits (specifically, the welcome gift)?

2) Are robes a standard amenity at HRH or is that a Loews First benefit?

3) Totally unrelated to Loews First... Can you share how much Club was offered to you if you asked for the upgrade at check-in? Also, is it likely that a Club upgrade would be available in early February at check-in?

1) Yes.

Yes, you will still get your Loews first gift if you upgrade to Club. May have to ask for it though. We have upgraded to Club for $50 during slow times. We usually book Club now when we get a good rate. On one of our last trips, we booked Club and our friends upgraded when they got there. They had to pay $100 a night for the upgrade. I think it was slightly more than what we paid.
I would think that early Feb is a slower time of year, except maybe the weekends due to Mardi Gras. I have found we have much better luck checking in early or mid week as opposed to a Friday.

As for the Club upgrade at check-in, we plan on trying for it and we're hoping that it's closer to $50 than the $100 per night! ;)

We checked in yesterday and after asking for the Club upgrade at that time, it was offered to us for $75 per night. It's not worth it for just the two of us, especially since we will be going off property for a good bit of today. We would've likely upgraded for $50, tho! ;)

The person who checked us in called someone who asked when we will would be checking out before a price was given to us.

Just thought I would provide an update since I have been fortunate to have acquired so much information from this forum! :thumbsup2
