views at VWL?

We are in the process of changing our reservation from AKV to VWL - when my husband was speaking with a cast member, they asked if we'd prefer a woods view or a room on the top floor - of course we have no idea since we haven't stayed there before, nor were we expecting to hear an option like that. Does anyone have any experience with either - any big plusses for one over the other? :confused3

There really isn't much of a view other than woods view at VWL. There are a few rooms that have a little bit of a view of the lake through the trees or some with a pool view. But the woods view is nice.

Personally I would take the top floor. There is nothing more annoying than listening to someone else's kids jumping around overhead (IMO of course)...

Of course, and it seems there isn't any huge benefit of one over the other, so we'll just see what we get! I guess I'll be more interested in checking out the building layout, to see which areas are more convenient to parking/boat launch/dining/etc..... Thanks for the help!! :)

We've had the woods/dumpster view, and the woods/lake view. The dumpster sure doesn't make the view magical, but it all depends how much time you plan on spending on the balcony.

Once I got to stay in a unit on the end of the building facing the main building, so I got to people-watch.:love: That was definitely better than my usual view of sitting on my balcony and watching the trees grow:surfweb: but both are definitely better than the dumpster:flower3:
