Parking Cost

We will be taking our 4th Disney Cruise next year but have never parked at the terminal. Most likely it will be a 3 day cruise. We will be at Disney for the 4 days before we take the cruise.

Considering we would pay $15.00 per person for Mears and $48.00 per person round trip from the hotel to the ship and then back to the airport on the DCL bus, we are considering renting a car for the week. We figure transportation costs would be in the range of $260+ for tips for the four of us.

We can rent a car for the week but would like to know how much it costs to park at the terminal for 3 days.

I just spoke with DCL two days ago and they said parking at the terminal is $8/day.

You may also want compare how much it would cost for a 4-day rental plus a 1-day rental vs. a 1 week rental. If you rent from Avis (and a few others), you can drop off the car near the port. You could then rent another car for the trip back to the airport. There is no extra charge for dropping off at the port. Dave has some more detail about this on his site:

So you would need to compare the following:

Option 1:
1-week Rental
$24 for parking at the terminal

Option 2:
4-day Rental
1-day Rental
No parking charge

Of course, this would also add a bit of hassle, so you should probably take that into account as well.
