Hi Guys'n'Gals,
We've been looking at Hard Rock web site but can't find any info for resident bands or any other evening entertainment at Hard Rock Live.
Does anyone know if there is a shiw every night or a couple of times a week, we will be there from April1st to 13th.
Also does anyone know if you have to book a table at Hard Rock Cafe or do you just turn up?
Any info would be very helpful
Thanx Audrey

Hi,
Try www.ticketmaster.com for events at the Hard Rock Live.
We currently has a ressy for Nelly Furtado on March 16th @ $25.00 per ticket.
You don't need to book for the HR Cafe, but you can get priority seating through www.hardrock.com .
You can also purchase an all access card which gives you front of the line access and discounts.
PS If you stay at a Universal Hotel you can go straight to the front of the queue at the HR cafe

Problem Orlando has now is theres Hard Hock Live, House of Blues, & Pleasure Island all competing to get named bands, plus loads of non tourist area music venues.
But there are not that many "named" acts around to fill them so they all seem to get 2 or 3 big draws a month max. HOB has lots of local bands play , sort of talen night thing, and the house bands at PI are pretty good.

If you go to the Hard Rock Live (http://www.hardrock.com/live2/live.asp) Site and click on Calendar (near the top on the left), you'll see anything that's coming up. There's not usually much there I'm afraid.
There can be quite a long queue at the Hard Rock Cafe. I'd recommend an all access card. You'll get first available preferred seating. Works like a charm. You have to pay for the card (a one off fee) which I think is still $25. You get $20 credit on the card, plus a beannie bear, a pin and a hat. Worth every cent :D.

Yes I would second that Carole,
I have recently got the card, pin, hat (which is L/XL and almost too big) and bear. With the priority seating and $20 credit it is an absolute bargain. You can use it anywhere, not just in Orlando.

The Hard Rock Live venue is superb - very intimate, but as others have said, often there's not much on. You can buy tickets at the box office, so it's worth checking right up until the last minute. House of Blues seems to attract more of the bigger names. You can check out what's on there at www.hob.com.
Another site for an overview of the whole area is www.pollstar.com. Search by city - you need Lake Buena Vista.
