Upgrade to Deluxe Dining at Check-in?

After looking at our ADR's, I am thinking that the Deluxe DDP may be a better options for us. Since we leave tomorrow AM, I am wondering if I can just do this at check-in :confused3

Well it can't hurt to ask! I'm guessing no because you need to add the DDP before arrival in most cases, however you are upgrading and willing to pay for it, you may be allowed. Be sure to post back when you return to let us know if you were successful in adding it!

Yeah - I would call NOW. They're open until 10 PM Eastern time; and since you want to give Disney more money, they just might let you upgrade.

Does anyone know why they require advance notice? I can see downgrading plans - but adding seems odd -maybe its just me

It depends on what code you used (if you used one) to book. Some codes don't allow for DxDDP.

If you want to upgrade to the deluxe dining plan it must be done 72 hours prior to arrival. The resort does not have away to add any or upgrade any of the WDTC packages.
