Hi all,
Sorry for yet another annual pass question! DH and I want to take our daughter to DLRP for her first birthday and hopefully go a few more times in the year. We want to buy AP's (one for the full year and one with black out dates) but would like to know, once you have bought them do they start running from that moment or are they only activated once you go to the parks? If I buy one next month and only use it in November, will it expire next February or next November?
Thank you in advance!!! :goodvibes

Cyrano is absolutely correct, its valid from the date you buy it, and expires one year later.

Darn...I was hoping to get the passes early on and try to book a good deal for an onsite hotel with the AP discount before November, now it looks like i'll have to wait and take my chances at getting a room.
Thanks for your speedy responses :goodvibes

Also i think if you buy your annual passport via the internet before you go i think you get sent a temporary pass to exchange for your AP at the park and i believe this must be done within 30 days if not it cannot be exchanged for a full AP but please someone correct me if i am wrong just would not want anyone to loose out buying passport in advance

Keep an eye on Expedia booknut - they sell Disney onsite hotels at room only rate. My friend booked her room at the Santa Fe for November 07 on Expedia and it was only £40 per room per night, including breakfast.

So it is possible to buy the annual pass ahead of time?
I keep looking at the US version of the site and this doesn't seem to be an option. Would it be over the phone do you suppose?

Yes you would phone, although I've not heard how others from the States have got on regarding getting an annual passport.
