Painting the World Lime: Goodbye Y'all!

According to my ticker, there are only 48 more days until my trip to WDW for Spring Break! :cool1: :woohoo: (But some of us start our TR's pretty early) So I'm starting quite a few days in advance. I am so excited to be going back to my favorite place on the planet! We're staying at Saratoga Springs and are excited for the new change! We leave on Friday March 14th from Dulles International Airport on a 6:30 AM flight. :eek: Yay! Allie's getting drug out of bed at 4:30! WOO! :rolleyes: Then we get to Orlando Airport at 8:50! But we leave on Friday March 21st at 8:10 PM and are back in Virginia at 10:20 PM. I must resist the urge to start packing now. I am already in the Disney spirit! Now, before I wrote another TR (Two DISers Head to Disney and sport the lime green pride!) except I kinda, mighta forgotten about it. (Blame school and dance) HOWEVER, this time I PROMISE I will actually finish this TR for four reasons.
-- I actually know how to upload camera pics :idea:
-- my camera case is smaller, so thus it is not as much of a pain to carry around :woohoo:
-- we're staying at a new resort so thus I will be taking a ton of pics!
-- It is less days, so I won't be going insane trying to remember what we did each day. (But I'll still be keeping notes otherwise I truly might go insane.)
In this pre-trippie you'll be introduced to us, see our itinerary, see our ADR's, a picture journey through our luggage and packing (woo, excitement), Disney things around the house, what do you do the night before Disney, and then our real TR! (When the time comes)

DD12 (DisGirlAllie)- Writer of the TR who has been to Disney 27 times since I was 3 years old (and we live in DC). I'm still a dancing freak, still a Disney freak, and I still have my many blond moments. (and I mean many). I'm also writing a book, but that's not important. I fainted on my 11th birthday (Happy birthday to me!) so every morning I have to drink an entire glass of water before I'm allowed to leave the hotel room. I've grown accustomed to being drug out of my bed at 5:30 - 6:00 in the morning to go to the parks on vacation. I have an extremely sarcastic sense of humor. (You'll grow accustomed to it) I'm 12 years old and am in 7th grade. I love Magic Kingdom, Root Beer, Wishes, Pirates, my laughing place, and dance.

Dad- Helper of the writing of the TR who has been to Disney 37 times! (went a few times in his childhood, brought me and my mom out to WDW a ton of times!) If it wasn't for him I probably would not have gone to Disney as many times as I have. He is still 5”6 ½ and bald, but he is more muscular than before! He's 38 years old. He changed jobs a few times, but is now at a company that he likes. (It also just happens to be near the best mall in Northern Virginia as an added bonus for me. Just sayin') He is an early morning guy. (Unlike some short blond girl named Allie) He loves Epcot; Illuminations; Water; Boma; Pirates; his laughing place; and avoiding to be stuck on IASMW for 40 minutes, 39 of which will be spent listening to that deathly song. (again)


Our Disney Timeline:

*I don't remember exact dates or years for anything after '98 so I might skip a few years but that doesn't mean we didn't go on trips then*

1969- The Helper of the writing of the TR was born :thumbsup2
1976- The Helper of the writing of the TR goes to Disney with stepmom, brother, and step siblings for first time. Terrified of characters (:lmao: ) , whereas brother was shaking all of their hands.
1995- The TR writer was born :worship: ;)
1998- The TR writer goes on First trip to Disney (stayed offsite.) :goodvibes
2005- TR writer writes report about Walt Disney for school and gets an A
2006- The TR writer and the helper of the writing of the TR go on First cruise, and it is of course DCL :sail:
2006- The TR writer, the helper of the writing of the TR, and the TR writer's best friend all go to Disney in August! (Best friend's first time)
2006- The TR writer, the helper of the writing of the TR, and the TR writer's mom all go to Disney for Christmas :santa:
2006- The TR writer and the helper of the writing of the TR join the DVC club
2007- The TR writer and the helper of the writing of the TR go to Disney for Spring Break
2007- The TR writer, the helper of the writing of the TR go to Disney during August
2007- The TR writer and the helper of the writing of the TR go to local Disney store and buy multiple Disney merchandise (chess, boardgames, stuffed animals. We were in a Disney mood)
2007- The TR writer mourns over the fact that she has bronchitis and we had to cancel our trip to Hilton Head for Christmas :sad1: (Although, I wasn't really that unhappy. I hate traveling for Christmas, even if it is Disney related)
2007- The TR writer recieves many Disney themed gifts for Christmas :santa:

I went for Spring Break last year. It's manageable. Just use touring plan's crowd calender and you should be good. Also, go really early in the mornings, come back in the afternoon and take a nap and swim in your hotel (you're gonna need one) and then go back later. Trust me!

Its on the game set Wii Play...there are several different games on the disk...but the cow racing is the most fun on the disk ...I think there are around ten games or so on Wii play:)

Okay peeps! I've only got 5 more weeks left of entertaining you until I write the real stuff! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: So it is Friday night (or Saturday morning depends on your perspective) and it's 12:40 PM. So thus, it is time for another update! *Celebratory woo!s can be inserted*
This week I was told there has been a change of plans. :scared1: But I was quickly assured it wasn't that bad. Whew! However there are some minor changes to our schedule.

1) We are no longer staying at Saratoga Springs. Unknown to my knowledge, we were on the waiting list for the Boardwalk. WE GOT IT! So we're staying at my favorite DVC resort this time. I am super excited! I also love the Boardwalk because: y'all will get more pictures, we can walk to Epcot and Disney Studios like last Spring Break, and it's an amazing atmosphere.
2) I have been dubbed lactose intolerant. Severely. I can still have stuff, but now instead one glass of water I have to take two entire glasses of water. Because I have to take lactose pills. *More sarcastic celebratory woo!s can be inserted* So, you may not see as many decadent chocolate dessert pictures, but you'll still see the occasional ones or the ones my dad will have.
3) And probably the best news ever!! The original plan was, Allie is going to be drug out of bed at 4:30. *Sarcastic celebratory woo!s can be inserted* BUT our plane has been delayed. I will not be drug out of bed at 4:30. (YES!) I will not be the crankiest person on the planet (I'm already cranky at 8:00!) INSTEAD I will be drug out of bed at 6:00. We will leave at 6:30. We will then get to the airport at 7:00. (Yay for only being 30 minutes from Dulles) Our plane will take off at 8:30. My dad has a little gold card, so we get through security in a snap. So we'll have some extra time, which means even more pictures! It really is a win-win deal for everyone.

So, those are all the changes for now and if anything else happens I'll be sure to add it. For those who were wondering, I finished the first chapter of my book so it's moving along nicely. Thanks to all those who are reading my trip report and more fun updates will come, I promise!

Its on the game set Wii Play...there are several different games on the disk...but the cow racing is the most fun on the disk ...I think there are around ten games or so on Wii play:)

Introduction: Hello folks! Feeling down? Got the Disney blues? Trying to resist running to your car and driving to Disney right now? Well have I got some good news for you! In your hands (or on your computer screen) you have obtained the guide to help you keep your sanity until your next Disney trip!

Step 1 Just getting back from Disney: Well it's all over. You enjoyed your time at Disney and had a magnificent time. You fall into a state of deep sadness thinking to yourself, why can't we move there? It's truly sad. To describe every single year, every single night before Disney, words cannot do justice to describe. So, instead, I have chosen some dialogue of the past nights to describe it.
"WHERE'S MY SOCK?"
"WHERE ARE MY SHOES?"
"HAVE YOU SEEN MY BOOK?"
"WHERE'S MY POWER-CORD?"
"WHERE'S MY TOOTHBRUSH?"
"WHERE'S MY SHIRT WITH THE PINK FLOWER ON IT?" (obviously me)
"CRAP I FORGOT TO GET A SKIRT!" (once again obviously me)
"WHERE'S MY CELL PHONE CHARGER?"
"DANGIT MY CELL PHONE'S DEAD?"
"DANGIT MY CELL PHONE IS DEAD AND MISSING!"
"WHERE THE CRAP IS THAT SMALL BOTTLE OF HAND SANITIZER?"

After that lovely dialogue montage (minus the many choice words), my dad and I made a vow that our next Disney trip would not be like that. We refused to do that and put on a show for our neighbors (Dad's house is a townhouse). So, we kept telling each other that as the months drew nearer to our trip. Now, most people would do actions to make sure they kept these vows and do not end up in stressful situations. Now, like I said, that is most people. But this trip report is not about most people, it is about us. And how bad we are at keeping that vow.
It is now 9:28 and I finally finished packing 45 minutes ago.
This our dialogue montage of tonight.
"WHERE'S MY CELL PHONE CHARGER?"
"WHERE'D MY BOOK GO?"
"I'M OUT OF BATTERIES!"
"WHERE'D WE PUT THAT DVD?"
"WHERE'RE MY CROCS?" I'm sure our neighbors were in hysterics after that one.
Now let's rewind back a bit, to this afternoon when I came home from school. I literally jetted through the door and gathered up clothes and toiletries and junk. I laid them all out on the table to be packed up into your's truly's suitcase.

So, I'm going into the storage room (I'm at mom's house at the moment, dad was still at work) looking for my pink duffel bag. I dig up my red suitcase, no pink duffel bag; I dig up my mom's black suitcase, no pink duffel bag; pink duffel bag! Oh wait, no, that's my grandpa's duffel bag (it's brown). NO PINK DUFFEL TO BE FOUND! CRAP!
So as I run around searching every inch of the house, it hits me. My pink duffel bag is at dad's house. Wonderful. So I take everything that I need and plop it into a laundry basket. After grabbing everything, I then got a power bar to burst my energy so I could stay awake because I was extremely tired. I then took a quick shower and made sure I had everything. Then I decided to pack my carry on bag. After grabbing my carry on stuff, I sat down on the couch and mentally went over my checklist. I had everything. So, my dad came over and drove me to his house with my stuff. Upon getting there, I pack everything in my duffel bag. Then, I ask my dad if he has everything. He triple checks his list and is sure he has everything. He hands me the list to make sure I have everything. I do, and I notice something. A few things are missing, so I tell him. He claims to have put them on there, but I still insist that they are not there. Now, you should know, we do not have a printer at our house. My dad has to use the one from work, 45 mins away. He takes back the list and overlooks it, and that is when it hits him. HE FORGOT TO PRINT THE SECOND PAGE!:scared1: So he opens up the document and overlooks it. So our perfectly planned evening turns into a chicken run. Thus, creating our dialogue montage. He was saying all of them, except for the crocs comment. That was me. :teeth:
So we are finally all packed and we, by now, are STARVING! So guess what I had for dinner. My dad, the health nut, made us have sugar covered strawberries. Best dinner by far. ;) The grilled steak was fairly good, the Parmesan crusted chicken over pasta was yummy, but the sugar covered strawberries was by far the best! ;)
So after all of that I sat down on the couch and began to write my triple update day. While also occasionally taking breaks to watch Gilmore Girls and Lost.
Now, I'd like to tie up some loose ends for y'all.
At 6:15 I will wake up and get changed.
