If you are a AAA member, and are wanting to get a discount, do you have to actually book it through AAA therefore having to go through them for your reservation, or can you still book through Disney and just use your member ID like you would at any other hotel?

Do you think the prices are the same between the AAA agencies?

Are there blackout dates on AAA discounts? And do I understand correctly that there are only so many rooms per resort available at the discounted price?

Yes. The AAA discount is a code that's applied to the reservation- all AAA's use the same code/same price.

Can you do the AAA discount on line or do you need to go in person?

That is not exactly true. I called 3 different times to AAA, spoke to the different agents, used the same dates, and got 3 different prices. What we ended up doing of course was go with the cheapest. When I asked the last lady why everyone had a different number, he answer was that sometimes travel agents don't put all of their codes through. Just a warning. You may have to call AAA more than once.

You have to call, go in person, or do live chat through their website.
