knotts berry farm or universal studios?

i may only have one day to do either one of these parks - which would you guys recommend?

I have been to universal studios in florida 4 times - the last time was feb 2007.i last went to universal studios in hollywood in 1998.

the last time i went to knotts berry farm was in 1991.

i have read bad reviews on here for both parks.

which park to visit?

Knotts if you want roller coasters. I like Universal because, unlike Florida, it is a real movie studio. Go during the week and you might actually see some filming.

Knotts. USH really doesn't have as much to do and it's more expensive.

I'd go Universal every day of the week, my fellow country-lady!

We were really let down by Knotts and its old fashion style theme parks compared to the glossy Studios.

We're back in April and will be returning to Universal and ignoring Knotts.

We are doing both on our California trip.

DS (11) loves roller coasters. And his part he wanted to do was Knotts.

DH wanted to go to Universal.

I wanted to go to Disneyland.

Should be a crazy 5 days!!

I used to love Knotts, but it has changed so much in the last 10 years. I would definitely go to Universal over Knotts. Knotts may have more to do but it's more like a fair now IMO. We still go to Knotts but only to eat the chicken dinner.
