I got 1300 pics from photopass and I took 1000 of my own from November. How do you decide which pics to scrapbook?? I am making a disney book for my best friend who was there with me.

WOW, 1300 Photopass pics???

Way to go, that's awesome!!

How did you get that many?

I just go through mine and I print the ones that I just like, and I can imagine doing something with them

I am probably not the right person to ask because I tend to scrap all my pics, especially if it was a once in a lifetime thing.

I have read that there are I think 3 stages to pics, the best, the keepers, and the tossers. Start with the best of the best, then fill in with keepers. The bad shots I wouldn't print.

I would lover to have 1300 photopass pics, we usually have 200 but DH takes about 5000 of our own. I really want to start relying on Disney more though because one of us is never in the picture.

Borders. Seriously I put almost every border on every pic cause I am sharing the pics with my 2 friends that were there with me. I had 4 CD's full of pics.

I did that with mine too because I wanted the option to have them later. I would have been so mad to go to print them and not have the border I wanted!

I divided mine by parks. I used the icon paper from a page kit purchased at disney as the "title" page with each park. Then I group like pics together (the parade pics, firework pics, ride pics, etc). I spread paper out over the living room floor. Then I just start with cropping the pics and playing with all the pics of that group til I have what I want. Then I stick everything down. That did not work for the Wonder cruise, so I just did an ABC of DCL and group pics by alphabet. Then I grouped Castaway Cay, the dining rooms, cabin, ect.. in their own pages.

I scrap chronologically, so I look at all the pics from a particular day, pick the best ones, and print them.

I have scrapped both ways for WDW but this latest trip I'm doing chronologically and I really like it. I print all the pics from that day scrap what I can and the left overs will either go in the chrono family albums or in my Disney ABC album.

I'm not going chronologically this time. I have been doing many pages with just on picture because they are character pictures. I have done pages for FOTLK and the parade at MK. I went through the pictures that I had for those and picked out the best ones and tried to make sure that I had pictures from many floats in the parade or scenes from the show.

My next project is a layout of the castle. I have a couple different pictures of that from different angles and different times of the day. I'm not using all of them though. Some are too similar and I just choose the better of the two (which ever one serves my needs for the layout).

HTH!

I usually scrap in cronicalogical order, and my last WDW trip is done my parks, resort, character meals, etc....

We leave in 9 days for our next trip. I would like to do something different for this trip. I like the idea of an ABC album. Can someone give me details on an ABC or suggetions for the upcomming trip??

TIA

here is my list:

I just take either pages like I did 1 page for Mulan, or any random pics that start with M.
ETA: My ABC book is a culmination of left over pics from multiple trips so I have never actually planned the book out.
