I have been designated by the bridal party to make a cookbook (based on recipes people will email me) for the bride to be. I have never done anything like this before! She is having a tiffany themed wedding. Any ideas out there????

oh! I just thought of something!!! This was done for a cousin's shower, but it could absolutely translate into a scrapbook. Include cards with each invite and ask everyone for recipes that you can give to the new bride. Ask them to write their favorite recipe and return the card to you (before the shower). I would recommend sending everyone a few cards so that they don't have to write on each side. If they have a picture of the dish, ask them to include that too.

Once you get everything back, you can then take those recipe cards and put them into a scrapbook for the bride. I think the best option for the cards would be to cut them from cardstock that you plan to use in the book. By doing that, everything will be coordinated and the bride will have something special that is not only made by you for her, but it includes special recipes from all of her friends and family.

I did this for a couple here on the DIS that got married this past summer. What I did was to have each person create their own scrapped recipe (like the ones we do in the recipe swaps), then I collected them and put them in a binder. That way, they were each different and each made from love.

I will see if they might post a picture here. If not, you can send a PM to Tmasingo or Ccormier (both hand out on the Angels thread on the community board) and they can send you a couple of pictures.:)
