Last night I saw in Tescos that Disney and Tesco have joined together to make ready meals!

The meal is in Mickey head shaped packaging and you didn't get a lot of food for your money.

I think this is one Disney product I won't be buying.

And do they say Asda on the packaging?

Strange that they seem to be linked to Tesco but also sell in other shops.

These have been in Asda for about 18 months and in Tesco for about 6.

They are both the same shape mickey ears bowl but the packaging is different on both and only Tesco's says Tesco's on it, the Asda one just says Disney.

My kids love them and for my DD9 it is enough food, for my DS7 it is not.

I'm hoping that Disney will join the Tesco Deals venture as Disney is also now on their bags of apples and bananas :thumbsup2

I bought a mickey shaped bowl for the kids when we were in WDW so I can make them meals in Mickey packaging! Seems to get the kids eating! :)
We bought the mickey bananas the other day too. There is also a colouring comp in Tesco affiliated with Disney if anyone is interested.

I think I'll be giving those a miss - though if they were Stitch shaped, I might have given them a go ;)

I saw them in Tesco a while back - I don't really think Disney should be venturing into this area.
I don't really like giving my children "kids" food. I think you should develop childrens tastebuds at a young age rather than fob them off with bland mac'n'cheese and rice slop. My girls are 5 and 2 and their fave foods are olives or stuffed vine leaves!
I think it's a very expensive way of feeding your children too - all the more profit for Disney though I suppose....

I think T16GEM has the right idea - buy the bowls seperately and fill them with something a bit more appetising and healthy.

I saw these in Tesco back in November when we were actually buying our Turkey. Although we have a love of Disney AND Tesco (Clubcard Points will be paying for our holiday in 2009), we won't be buying them either.
