AKV - Jambo - Advice needed

Greetings!

I made ressies at AKV for a studio April 15-April 18 before our 3rd Disney cruise. I knew that there will be construction going on but this is my hubby's fave DVC resort and it is an early 40th b-day celebration for him.

When I made the ressies, the DVC rep assured me that based on his own experience staying at a studio in Jambo that it wasn't noisy. I just wanted to get more opinions about it. I don't know if I should leave the ressie alone or if I should try and stay at another resort.

No worries your good! I just got back couldnt hear a thing!

Construction at Jambo is essentially over. Kidani construction is across the Sunset savanna and some noise possibly can be heard from rooms on that side of the resort (the left side of the U-shaped Jambo house) but even then it is some distance away.

Only thing we heard was screaming and whiny kids...and they were in our group :cool1:

But not mine :worship:

We were directly across from the new Kidani and the noise did not bother me a bit.

Just back yesterday.... We were on the Zebra Trail and we heard NOTHING!

Have a great trip.

We stayed at AKV Dec. 20-26....never heard nor saw any construction going on. We actually had to make a point of it one day to walk around & LOOK FOR the construction.

You will love it!! We had a great room...Room 5401.
It is the first room off the elevator, overlooking the lobby.
We had a wonderful view of the pool from our balcony.
