after DS being mugged at the weekend I thought that things were bad enough, but DH tried to use his debit card tonight in Asda for £6.42p and it was declined, when I rang the bank our debit card has been compromised and £708.90 has been spent on online gambling/lotto cards and fortune tellers!!!! taking me into the red and incuring bank charges etc, etc.

So now I cannot access my money (not that I have any left) etc etc - I am not a happy person I really could cry, so now I have to try and rob peter to pay paul until our new cards arrive!

Thank you all for your kindness - still a bit numb today, spoken to the bank again this morning and some charges had gone through just before the cards were stopped so it totals just under 1000.00, and then bank charges on top!! hopefully it will all get sorted and refunded but a total stop has been instigated on the account until the fraud department deals with it. I am almost looking over my shoulder for the third thing to happen!!

On the plus side DS is feeling better and seems brighter in him self, it has really knocked his confidence though.

DH is off up the building society to withdraw some cash!
