Of course, my two DDs would love to see them again. I thought that since the Jonas Brothers have family here they would try to play in the area, but they aren't playing anywhere close to us.

My DDs got to see them at the HOB in Myrtle Beach last summer. They got to meet them backstage at that show. I also took them to the concert in Charlotte in November. That's not enough for them, though.

We must be neighbors -- my SIL took her daughter and they got second row tickets for that show - she was sooooo excited.

I saw them with my CM daughter at HOB this summer at Disney -- they do a nice show and I am sure in that venue they were limited to what they could do.

Wow, front and second row seats... I bet all the girls are thrilled!

We thought about going to the arena to buy tickets, but decided to take our chances with ticketmaster. I did get seats, but they're not fabulous.

But I understand there were over 4,000 folks at the arena here that morning and many of them spent hours & hours in line only to get tickets worse than ours.

Of course when DD found out the Jonas Brothers actually showed up at the box office... she about flipped!

The Best of Both Worlds Tour was more about the Jonas Brothers than about Hannah/Miley for DD.
Sheesh, if Ally and AJ would have been the opening act here, we probably could have skipped it.
Darn scheduling anyway! :rolleyes1

Here it was a lotto number with the wristbands and the bands weren't passed out until a certain time -- my SIL went just one hour before the bands were being passed out and then she and her daughter traded one with another family so they would each have a larger spread when the number was chosen at where the "line" would start.

Ok, after reading these posts - how many here are from Illinois & how many of you went to the Peoria Civic Center for the wristband lotto draw??:wave2:

My husband & I were there too. We separated to try & have a better chance of getting tickets too. WOW, what a coicidence.....

We got row 5, but were the 20th # to get tickets - not too sure how they did that whole 1st in line 1st tickets thing.... but still row 5 is good.

Yes, how do you get backstage, meet & greet passes? Besides win them. I have a friend w/connections trying & so far no luck.

My daughter has been sick & going through a lot of tests: EEG's, bloodwork & alot of doctor apts., I would really like to suprise her w/those:)

I will probably see you all on Feb 17, but won't know you:)

Have fun!

Please I cannot get you passes to the meet and greet so please don't pm me and ask, I hate saying no but i truly can't.

This is the deal:

At the Jonas Brothers official Web Site, there is nothing to click on, YOU MUST BE PART OF THEIR OFFICIAL STREET TEAM TO PARTICIPATE AND TRY TO WIN THE PASSES AND TICKETS!!!!! THEY SEND OUT TASKS YOU MUST COMPLETE AND SEND BACK TO THEM VIA EMAIL, WEB SITE, YOU TUBE, AND ANY OTHER MEDIA THEY REQUIRE

It just happens that they'll send out the emails and its all with CONTESTS via the OFFICIAL street team. It never says that anywhere in regards to meet and greets on their web site, you must be patient and wait for it to come to you, then you must do and complete all tasks as to what needs to be done and they DRAW names and those said people win.....contacted via email!

I'm sorry to deliver the bad news to everyone, but that's how it works....

My kids are going to the Peoria show, but DD11's mom is taking them this time. I took them to HM and HSM, so it's somebody else's turn! Since the other family was buying the tickets, I didn't even know about the bracelet lottery until the girl's dad told me later that day, or I would have gone to Peoria and gotten the tickets myself! They knew about the bracelet lottery, but didn't want to drive 45 min. to participate! I wish they'd mentioned it the day before!

Wow - 1st row! I emailed the Civic Center just to ask how that was done, because by my calculation, we should have been row 2 or maybe 3 (20 people in front of me x 4 tickets each.... there were 3 sections of 14 they tell us thats 42 across divided by 4 thats 10 1/2 & I knew that 3 people didn't show up when their number was called, so I really thought 2nd or 3rd row.) I just asked how it was done & that I heard alot of comments about being so far back etc.

She was kinda snotty w/reply that you were not guaranteed tickets if you had a wristband, we were so lucky to even get tickets - the concert sold out in 20 minutes, & on & on.

So, I emailed back & told her I was not complaining, I just thought that they should know my feelings that we should have been closer but I am very happy to get row 5, that is still really good - again I repeated that I wasn't complaining. Then I just had to throw in that I checked Ticketmaster today & there are still tickets available, so the concert still isn't sold out. ???? Don't know why she said it was.....

How many more Peoria Civic Center, DisBoards goers do we have out here for the Jonas Brothers Concert????

No doubt some of the best seats were holdbacks, even with the wristband thing.

DD just happened to be on the Jonas Brothers site a day or two ago when an announcement popped up that more seats were released for the concerts here (taking place this weekend)

I went to ticketmaster to check it out and I could have gotten MUCH better seats than I did on the day they were released.
I didn't want the hassle of trying to sell my extras on such short notice though, so we're sticking with what we already had.

Congrats carole88!
You can come back and give us the first Dis Jonas Brothers concert review. :thumbsup2

Well, we just got back a little while ago. We first did the meet and greet. The brothers were very nice and took a picture with each person with a pass. Unfortunately they weren't signing autographs as there were too many people and it would have taken forever. The opening band was a group called Rooney. We only recognized their last song. I think that they sang about 5 songs. The Jonas Brothers played for about an hour and a half. They opened up with Year 3000 and ended with SOS. My daughter had a great time.

Hope everyone else enjoys their concert as much as she did!

They will be at the Patriot Center at George Mason Univ in Fairfax in March. However, tickets are currently sold out. My daughter and friends (14 and 1 years old)are upset because their seats are not close together. And the 'news' that the first 20 rows were being reserved for those who purchased in person was was not factual--at least for this venue.

I just found this thread and I thought I would share my excitement here, so I don't ruin the suprise for my DS10. I was listening to the radio this morning and they said that they had tickets still available for the Feb 28 Jonas Brothers concert in Dallas TX (Grand Prairie actually). I was able to get tickets for myself and my DS10. I'm just going to tell him that we are going to a meeting about him graduating from 4th to 5th grade. I am going to try and keep it a secret until we are actually walking in the building, or at least until we pull into the parking lot. DS 10 loves the Jonas Brother's music. Their CD was the first one he ever asked for, and this will be his first concert. I am as excited about this as I am our upcoming WDW trip.

we are in Florida.

We are actually from Canada so this is a bonus to our trip.

It will be me, my dd 9, my sister and her two dd's 16 and 11.

I think the plan is for dh to drop us off and then we will take a taxi back to the resort. It will be a bit squished. But dh won't be able to come get us because he will be at the resort with dd 4 who will be in bed.

I can't believe I have still been able to keep this a secret. I only have a few more hours before we get to the concert. I hope that I can continue to keep my mouth shut. He still thinks we are going to a meeting. I just bought a new digital camera, and since I bought it I have kept it in my purse at all times. I can't wait to get pictures of my DS10 at his first concert.

We went to the show last night in Kansas City. My sister called at 1:00 and said that they had just announced on the radio that they were releasing more tickets so I jumped on iy. We were to the side of the stage but in the 5th row. I would buy those side view seats again in a heartbeat. We saw so much better than we would have if we had been in the back of the center section.

The show was good, I guess. All the kids screaming seemed to really enjoy it and my daughter kept leaning over to kiss me and say thank you during the show so it must have been good. :)

I have 6 tickets for 2 adults and 4 14 year olds for Verizon Center in Manchester NH on March 15th. We are driving up that morning and staying over night with my brother who lives 10 miles from there. The girls are soo soo excited even though they saw them with HM in January. I had an awfull hard time getting HM tickets. Didn't get them until December for the 1/9 show in Albany. These were easier to get. Good luck!

OMG we had the *best time at the concert in KC last night! Our seats were on the side of the stage, front row! We were just feet away from them. My 9 year old daughter got personal attention from Joe and Nick (he actually pouted at her and blew her a kiss lol). I have some great pics, including a good one of Joe interacting with her from the stage.
Here's my daughter showing where we sat
