Does anyone know how long you can stay in the US at any one time. or to put it another way, how long does the Visa waiver form cover?
Thanks

Hi Pat
The waiver lets you stay for 90 days, though if you declare your staying for a longish (out of the norm) period, imigration may start to ask how come you can do it, and question wether your looking for work etc.
So for longer stays take some proof of employment, reason you can spend so much time away from home etc just in case.
On our 4 long stays (declared 3 months each) we were questioned just once.
Also MAKE sure that little green tab from the visa thats left in your passport get handed in on departure, as thats the only proof the INS have that you've left the country :) (otherwise could be problems when you return).
You can apply for a 6 month visa at the embassy in London but agin they will want proof why and how you need to spend so long there.
