New Cricut carts - sports themed

Good news mom--not only is there one in the works, but there will be two available at local retailers in April! There’s more great news too but I’ll let you discover that when you are buying them! -Jeff


CHA is in less than a month; hopefully more news will trickle out about new carts.

I just read this on the Cricut boards. I am glad they are finally doing sports carts!

I'm excited about the sports carts... I'll definitely be looking into this one.. maybe I'll hold off on some of the layouts to see what is up..but who am I kidding w/ 5 kids... I'm never done scrapping sports events!!!

Just read on the Cricut boards that supposedly there are going to be 8 new cartridges coming out. :scared1: :cloud9:

I see that. Everyone will need to take out their crop-a-dile's and fasten themselves to the BAN wagon really tight! I could avoid sports carts, but odds of not wanting any of 8 carts...not good.

No, but an online store is promo-ing the announce on Feb 7th. However, I'm guessing beans will be spilled before then in trickles. I hope so, that's a long time to wait.

Me too! And what are the odds that they don't split football and baseball or something that won't make sense - unless they are field sports vs. something else as someone suggested somewhere (I"m reading too much).

I need wrestling stuff - can't find it anywhere!

I just need hockey and baseball, but they will probably be on different carts. Figure skating would be awesome, but I doubt they would include that. I'm a long way off from scrapping any of my hockey or baseball layouts so the good news is that I can wait to purchase these ones.

I'm really excited about the Pooh ones! Those I will need ASAP! :)

Oh, I am so excited about the sports carts. I've been hoping for those since I got my bug. I will need football, basketball and I hope they have some kind of track and diving. Definitely not going to scrap bball until I see them. I think I have football done. If not, I'll wait.

Hmmm....that is a tough one. I haven't seen those either I can say. The ONLY wrestling I got was at the convention in Valley Forge - two different papers - woo hoo - a whole 2 (they don't even match). One had a mat on it and the other had safety pins as a play on words I suppose? Given that my son is usually the one GETTING pinned, I don't know if those are appropriate pages!

I was just wondering if they're going to include dancing on these carts. If they do, my luck they'd put tap on one and ballet on the other. :rotfl:

Yeah, they just got CC paper in at our LSS... That is the only place I found them.. she got the shipment in and on the same day me and another mom went and couldn't think her enough for getting those papers in.. the next time I went in they were gone.. :(
