Has anyone stayed on deck 5 and did you find it to be noisy with the kids program and the movie theater on that level? We have the option of staying deck 5 aft for a 7 night cruise and we have only been on deck 6 and 7 before. Thanks.

We stayed On Deck 5 on our first cruise. It was great. No we did not notice any noise on the deck. The staterooms are off the main hallways so you don't really get any of the traffic of the public areas.

We have stayed on Deck 5 many times...stateroom 5650 (as far aft as you can get) is my favorite stateroom on the ship, and we have also been in the secret porthole rooms (far forward, by the elevators), 5622 (near the aft elevators), and a couple of inside staterooms. At no time did we have any noise due to the kids clubs or movie theater, nor did we get any elevator noise. The only noise we've ever gotten is when we have a noisy family nearby, and that can occur on any deck (and it's also rare). I definitely wouldn't hesitate to stay on Deck 5...it's very convenient :) :)

We stayed in 5013 and loved that area. The only kids we heard were our own. :rolleyes: :D
We found deck 5 to be a great area,not to far to go up to anywhere and not to far to go down either. We are staying on 5 again on our next cruise.

We stayed in 5640 and had no problems at all with noise. Just loved the room!

Love deck 5! It is great because unlike the other decks it does not have the longggg hallways with nothing but doors. Very little foot traffic, absolutely NO noise from the club, lab, or theatre since they are away from the room areas.

"My cabin" is 5130 or corresponding room starboard. Seems to be quiet area. Not too much traffic in the halls as there aren't too many room back there. And it's not too far from dining rooms, theaters, shops, etc.
