I wonder what triggered the Airsoft paintball gun ad? Usually, I can see what thread titles are responsible for the more unique ads, but this time, I am at a loss.

It might have been Mike's "KNOX! I'm going to shoot you with an Airsoft Paintball Gun if you don't settle down" -- thread.. which he has since deleted.

Seriously - I noticed across the DIS this weekend the ads at the top of the page were a little 'off'.

Well-- after what seemed like an endless spate of banners shilling "You too can visit Historic Zagreb" or various sundry Nascar goodies, I seem to have settled down with a "Moving to Tokyo --Ask Ken" theme... The ads have me pretty much mystified. :confused3

Who knows how these things work- I'm straight and on my LJ I keep getting ads for books targeted at the children of gay and lesbian couples.:rotfl: (There is an amazing assortment out there, these days for anyone interested.) I know I have "family" "children" and "books" as interests, but I don't think I'm really the target audience unless my BIL settles down someday and adopts.:wizard:
