I was wondering If You Had the Chance to accually Live in An Attraction What would you pick ?:)

01-20-2008, 01:33 AM
Minnie's House!

01-20-2008, 01:38 AM
What a cool question!

I would have to either pick Spaceship Earth -- I would love to lie on my back and stare up at the "stars" in the finale all day.

Or, Splash Mountain. Very cool scenery -- you still have some access to the outdoors -- and you'd have water to bathe in!

I think Tom Sawyer's island would be the most doable attraction to live in. Or maybe Kiliminjaro Safaris if you really want to live dangerously!

01-20-2008, 02:09 AM
I've always wanted one of those apartments above the shops on Main Street in the MK.... with maybe the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse as my vacation home.

01-20-2008, 02:54 AM
Haunted Mansion for sure!!

01-20-2008, 02:57 AM
The Swiss Family Robinson's treehouse gets my vote. That is if I can't vote for Cinderella's castle.

wendy darling
01-20-2008, 03:03 AM
Cinderella's castle.

01-20-2008, 06:59 AM
I'd love to live on Discovery Island in the middle of Bay Lake!

01-20-2008, 07:02 AM
I would have to say Splash Mountain....I just love that ride!

I'd pick the farmhouse with the rooster on the mailbox in "Living with the Land"! You just know there's a farmwife in that house working on dinner!

01-20-2008, 08:25 AM
No brainer. Cinderella's Castle of course! There's the castle suite for sleeping and everyday living, and the restaurant for eating so you're covered for the practicalities. Besides, who doesn't want to live like a princess!

01-20-2008, 08:34 AM
The castle of course.

01-20-2008, 08:40 AM
I'm a commuter, so I guess it would have to be somewhere on Main Street, MK, near the train station.

01-20-2008, 09:12 AM
Haunted Mansion or TTA! I could ride around all day on TTA watching the other attractions, the fireworks, and the people!

01-20-2008, 09:13 AM
I would have to say Mission: Space or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Yeahhh ! :)

01-20-2008, 09:22 AM
Great Movie Ride.

01-20-2008, 09:37 AM
Cinderellas Castle or the Tree of Life at AK.

01-20-2008, 09:55 AM
I would choose either TOT or POTC! I would love to have seen the TOT in it's hayday as it appears to have been very opulant! The POTC because of the excitement and the pirate boats floating in the water before the town. Also, Johnny Depp! Need I say more!!!!!

01-20-2008, 09:59 AM
I would have to say Mission: Space or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Yeahhh ! :)
that would be sick to live on rock 'n' roller coaster you would have your own night club lol and ride the ride all night long!

01-20-2008, 10:51 AM
The seas with nemo and friends. I would love to watch the fish and the manatees all day. or maybe peter pan's flight! :tinker:

zippy doo dah
01-20-2008, 11:17 AM
It's so hard to choose...on one hand HM is my absolute favorite attraction and I would be happy just to do that all day long, but on the other hand Castle has always had a special place in my heart. If I could only choose one attraction, I would live in HM and when I needed a night away from the spooks, I would vacation at Castle :thumbsup2

01-20-2008, 11:22 AM
Tower of Terror. I hear the elevators are top notch there...;)

01-20-2008, 11:26 AM
For nostalgia...Carousel of Progress
For fun...Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
For romance...Cinderella Castle
For excitement...Pirates of the Caribbean

01-20-2008, 11:28 AM
This is a great question and so hard to choose! I'd have to choose HM and a close second is Space Mt - I love the stars and space age music; it's relaxing.

I have to say, I'm very surprised no one has said IASW, yet - what a puzzler

01-20-2008, 11:42 AM
Tower of Terror for sure!

You'd see my laundry being hung to dry in front of the big open elevator doors right at the top of the drop. Now that would be frightening :scared1:

01-20-2008, 11:46 AM
Can I rotate?
Carousel of Progress for my live-in home
The Castle for my show-off home princess:
and Its a Small World for my dream home :lovestruc

01-20-2008, 11:54 AM
Cinderella's castle but my first home improvement would be to replace a few stained glass windows so I can see my kingdom!!!

01-20-2008, 12:00 PM
Haunted Mansion or Tower of Terror!

01-20-2008, 12:16 PM
COP or Cinderella's castle

NC State
01-20-2008, 12:18 PM
The Castle or GMR (somewhere over the rainbow).

01-20-2008, 12:19 PM
I will post my rebuttal on all the Castle responses, it is not an attraction in the traditional disney attraction sense(although I would like to live there too!).

I think I would have to go with the Swiss Robinson Treehouse, second choice would be Tom Sawyers Island, because the crowds aren't as bad...haha.

01-20-2008, 01:07 PM
It would either be haunted mansion or buzz lightyear. :]

01-20-2008, 01:21 PM
Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse all the way.

01-20-2008, 01:27 PM
Hmmm. Peter Pan I think. I'd sleep in the nursery.

01-20-2008, 01:51 PM
I would experience Soarin' over and over again. Just floating around the world..:cloud9:

Friendly Frog
01-20-2008, 01:59 PM
Another vote for the Haunted Mansion. My husband thinks that I am nuts, but the room with the organ playing and the big window give me a "safe/secure" feeling, more comforting than scary. Strange I know,... don't ask me to explain it.:confused3 :rotfl:

Blueyed Girl
01-20-2008, 02:42 PM
Living With The Land! There's plenty of fish & veggies to eat and you can even lay out & get a tan while indoors. Going to and from is not a problem there's always a boat going by.:)

01-20-2008, 02:52 PM
Does the Disney Magic count:banana:

01-20-2008, 03:03 PM
POTC for me. Everytime I go on it I pick out my 'house' in the town. Now, granted, it might be nicer if it weren't always on fire but at least I will never get cold.

01-20-2008, 03:20 PM
POTC for sure pirate:

01-20-2008, 03:21 PM
It would be SSE first and then POTC. Sorry couldn't pick just one.

01-20-2008, 03:24 PM
Discovery Island in Bay Lake!!!

Pirate at Heart
01-20-2008, 03:30 PM

01-20-2008, 03:40 PM
Don't know if this qualifies as "an attraction" but anywhere in the World Showcase!

01-20-2008, 03:51 PM
Absolutely Tower of Terror. I really love the decor--except for the dust. Heck, I'd probably end up cleaning the place just to see what "the hotel" would look like back in it's glory days!

01-20-2008, 04:25 PM

I would LOVE to be in there all night with Captn Jack Sparrow:)

01-20-2008, 04:27 PM
Carousel of Progress! I just love that ride/show. :goodvibes

01-20-2008, 07:28 PM
swiss family tree house the beds look so comfy I love the castle but the idea of living in a tree house is awesome

01-20-2008, 08:06 PM
Swiss Family Tree House...beautiful view during the day and a spectacular view of fireworks at night! It would be soooooooo "magical"!

01-20-2008, 08:24 PM
Spaceship Earth. We usually ride SE as the last ride of our trip each time we go - just a tradition I guess.

When we ride it the last time I'm usually a bit depressed knowing that we're about to leave. So during the ride I think - "I could jump off and live in the different sets - moving around each day. I never tell anyone I'm with becasue I don't want them to think I'm crazy.

This pass trip I told my DD16 what I was thinking - her reaction? "Sounds good. And at night we could collect the money in the fountains and to buy food during the day." She's my daughter all right!!!

01-21-2008, 05:04 PM
Bump !!

01-21-2008, 05:46 PM
Swiss Family Treehouse!

01-21-2008, 06:00 PM
I'd say the farm house in the "Living with the Land" attraction.

The Garden Grill restaurant in The Land pavilion slowly rotates and there is a part where you overlook the farm scene from the "Living with the Land" boat ride. There is an upstairs bedroom window in the farmhouse with a little light on a desk and it looks so cozy!

01-21-2008, 06:11 PM
I would definitely want to live in Splash Mountain.

01-21-2008, 06:18 PM
tree of life, that place would be awesome

01-21-2008, 06:19 PM
Gotta be in the treasure room on POTC with Captain Jack!!! http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/2715/takewhatyoucan1uo6.gif

Now, if they could just add Captain Turner to the ride as well............;)

01-21-2008, 06:24 PM

03-10-2008, 08:43 PM

03-10-2008, 10:19 PM
The House of Innoventions at Epcot in Future World. I get the bathtub with the TV :thumbsup2

03-11-2008, 06:58 AM
Tower of terror has to be a bed somewhere in that hotel. also have a quick exit incase of emergency.:thumbsup2

03-11-2008, 10:15 AM
Expedition Everest with my friend the Yeti!

03-12-2008, 01:06 PM
Oh how cool would it be to really live in the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House! Aside from the Castle I think that would be really awesome.

03-12-2008, 01:22 PM
:hmghost: I don't know why - it just hit me. With all the great choices, I felt it would be cool to talk to the ghosts!:lmao:

03-12-2008, 02:15 PM
Toss up between the Haunted Mansion or Pirates.

03-12-2008, 09:35 PM
The castle!

03-15-2008, 12:48 PM
I Would have to choose the many adventures of winnie the pooh because of Owls house and everything else, it would be awsome!

03-15-2008, 01:27 PM
Tom Sawyers Island thats the most relaxing place in WDW to me.and than i can make the kids run around and look for paint brushes all day :rotfl2: and DH and i can play checkers all day lmao:cloud9:

03-15-2008, 02:32 PM
Hmm.. probably the TTA, or even the walkway between the Land area, and Future World, in EPCOT.

03-16-2008, 12:16 AM
the swiss family robinson treehouse!!!!

03-19-2008, 01:47 AM
Wow this really made me think and I LOVED reading everyone's answers!

I'm torn between a few rides/attractions. I'd love to live in The Seas with Nemo and Friends. I've always been facinated by sharks and could watch them swim all day and night. Plus how awesome to have your own scuba diving enterance in your house!

I also agree with a previous poster though that living in SE would be amazing for being able to just stare at those stars and the image of the Earth all day.

I could go on and on about why i would want to live in every attraction, how amazing would that be!

03-19-2008, 02:20 AM
MINNIE'S HOUSE, HANDS DOWN!! My mama and I always talk about how fun it would be to actually live in there. Besides, I am afraid of the dark (go ahead, laugh!) so I wouldn't want to live in any of the rides in the dark, LOL!

03-19-2008, 06:56 PM
What a great thread, I love all your responses!!!

I would choose to live in the farmhouse in Living with the Land because it just seems so 'homey' to me, I just want go in there and bake everyone coming by on the boat some pie! :rotfl2:

I'd also love a DVC at Minnie's House!!! ;)

03-19-2008, 10:33 PM
What a fun thread!

I'd have to go back in time a few years, but I'd pick Horizons to live in! :goodvibes

03-19-2008, 10:36 PM
The Treehouse. Definitely the Treehouse. how COOL would that be??? :woohoo:

04-04-2008, 02:50 PM
Splash mountain or Kali river rapids, because I like the sound of running water and sleeping outside next to it would be great, and they both have cool views.
If there was a flat surface with a fence around it so I couldn't fall, then Astro Orbiters would be awesome too.

Wherem I Now
04-04-2008, 03:04 PM
Over the Train Station. That way I could wake up every morning and look down Main Street U.S.A., watch the smiling faces as people enter the gates, and see Wishes every night from the best spot in the Kingdom! :goodvibes

04-04-2008, 03:07 PM
Minnie's House and it is already decorated in my taste!

04-04-2008, 09:59 PM
If the castle is not available, I'd choose to live in ToonTown, and room with Minnie in her house. Such a great little house, and public transportation (Disney Railroad) is just a short walk away. With Mickey, Donald, and Goofy as neighbors there would always be something going on, and I would surely feel safe in the neighborhood. There is the playground for the little ones, the barnstormer to keep out of town guests amused, the produce market for groceries, and the store where you can buy your clothes, all within walking distance. :goodvibes

05-20-2008, 10:18 AM
IN splash mountain, test track, haunted mansion, or dinosuar definitly. or maybe even just some random pavilion in Epcot or in tommoroland.

05-21-2008, 07:48 PM
I'd say the farm house in the "Living with the Land" attraction.

The Garden Grill restaurant in The Land pavilion slowly rotates and there is a part where you overlook the farm scene from the "Living with the Land" boat ride. There is an upstairs bedroom window in the farmhouse with a little light on a desk and it looks so cozy!

I'm another vote for the farmhouse! I love that cozy-looking bedroom and I've always wondered what the inside of that house would be like. (Although I'm very sure my imagination is much better than the reality, lol...) Plus if you needed some fresh veggies or fish you could just row a boat over to the Land's greenhouses...

But then again, Canada at World Showcase would be wonderful too, and you'd go to sleep with that beautiful waterfall sound...

This is such a great thread! I've often fantasized about running away from the real world and getting an AP and living in WDW...the places you could hide so you didn't get kicked out of the park...the different fountains you could scavenge for money for food....where you could hide your belongings (even WDW hobos need a toothbrush!). I would definitely hit the Vacation club villa grounds for comfy couches if wanted to watch tv, grab a quick nap or an apple!

05-21-2008, 07:52 PM
I always wished I could stay in Horizons before it was removed.

05-21-2008, 07:55 PM
It would be kind of neat to live in ToT or maybe HM with my 999 happy haunted friends! There would never be a dull moment.
