Keep checking on this site as well as mousesavers. Be sure to call Disney Reservations to see if there are any discounts available to you for your time period. Ask if there are any pin codes attached to your names, phone numbers, address, email address, etc.... Let them know if you have AAA, military or gov't id, etc..... The biggie is don't give up hope. Keep trying for those discounts every so often. I didn't have a discount several months ago, but just a week ago one popped up. :cool1:

We have been in October 3 times. I love going in October. We weren't planning on going back this year, but I talked my husband into it. :worship: :banana: We are not going to tell our kids...it's going to be a surprise. Just a word of note...MANY of the schools in the south do Fall break. It's usually the 2nd or 3rd week in October. So, I don't know how much impact it has on the crowds...I just know a lot of people in this area go during fall break. But then again, when is Disney not crowded! :lmao:

We are all planning to be in costume! (Me, DH, DS 6, DD 6, and DD 4) My kids pretty much know what they want to be, but I am undecided for my husband and I. Just booked for the 15-21 and staying at CBR. Yippie!!!! We went in April but I got very ill so we cut our 7 day trip down to 3 so I could return home and be treated here. :sick:

So we decided we'd make it up by the end of the year and October was perfect. Not only is the Food & Wine Festival going on DH and DS will take 1 day to compete at ATA Fall Nationals if they so choose.

We're doing the DDP this time and I need to get on the ball and decide where we're going to eat and make ADR's.

Were considering going Oct 9th - 12th (OKW or BC) to enjoy our anniversary again without the kids. Just got back in May 2008 (OKW) and regardless if we go in Oct (OKW or BC), we'll be there again in May of 2009 (OKW). I'll take what I can get but of course, the more the trips the marrier I am!

Hi!!! Congratulations to you all on your stays!!! I have some interesting info for all of you driving down I-95 to the World. We went to Daytona Beach yesterday (which is about 3 hours for us) and found some really cheap gas!!! At exit 29 in Georgia, right outside of the Brunswick exits, gas was $2.69/gal for regular!!!! This is about 3 hours 15 minutes from WDW so if you get gas there, you could make it all the way without having to buy again. When we were at WDW a couple weeks ago, gas was cheaper at the Hess stations inside WDW than anywhere around the interstates close by.
