I have the CM cutters - they work great - they have 3 different blades that allow you to cut each of the shapes three different sizes. There are all types of shapes - star, circle, oval, diamond - the blade is on this round holder with two teeth in the bottom - you fit the teeth into a grove that goes around your shape. (YA - That sounds clear as mud!!!)
Any way they are easy to use. And i like them. hope this helps

I have them CM cutters. My blades still work and I've had them since 1999. (goodness has it really been that long!?!??!)

I have the circles and ovals and still use them on occasion.

I have a huge collection of the shapes and use them a lot - great for tags and stuff as well as the ordinary. And the blades mean you can cut 3 sizes of each shape so they're wonderfull for double matting.

O.K. You have a pic you want cut out, You grab your clear blue circle cheat sheat and put over it to find the right size. Then you grab the right size "cuter" then you cut with the blade. You have three choices in blades. red-smallest green-middle and then blue-bigger. or just the op. depending on if you are cutting on the inside of the "Template" or the outside. The blades are 1/8 inch bigger the the next R, g, b. So you cut you pic with red then grab the color you want behind it and use the green blade. You have a nice mat behind it, then you can do a different color with the blue and have two mats behind it, ofset them or if using ovals then you can turn them and make a flower. circle picture and two or more ovals behind it. Have fun, I love mine.

I've had my CM (circles and ovals) since 2000 and the blades still cut, I don't use them as much as I used to, but they are a great item.

I also number my plastic template sheets and my cutting systems. Once I measure with the sheet I know to grab, say, #8 of the cutting system. Just makes it a little quicker than making sure I have the right size circle, oval, etc.

I love my CM cutting system! The new blades are even better. They rotate so you don't have to change the position of your hand.

I have lots of shapes but use my circles and ovals the most. I highly recommend them.
