I just checked online and called to get the new rate. Saved us alot! We are staying at HRH June 24-29. Our rates went from $282.60 & $314.00 to $254.00 & $267.00 a night.

I checked and they told me that my rate would actually go up from $219 to $220 and would go to $233 over the weekend (that's what we already have). We're only staying 2 nights and I asked if they had availability for an extra night-she said yes, but not with any discounts. I'm keeping my 2 nights and my AAA rate. BTW, we're at RPH, standard 2 queens.
Am I missing anything? :confused3 We've never stayed at Universal before.

I'm pretty sure your AAA is the best rate, as I think you need to stay at least 3 nites for the supersaver rate...altho, i could be wrong..... :rolleyes1

From what I read about the SuperSaver rate, there is a 3 night minimum. It looks like if you stay 3 nights, you will save 15% and if you stay 4 nights or longer, you'll save 20%.
We got the SuperSaver rate at RPR for June 22-26 (4 nights) for $207 per night.

We are staying at the RPR June 27-30. I called today and was told there are no super saver rates at RPR then. :confused3 But it looks like my AAA rate is the same as the supersaver rate anyway so I guess it doesn't matter.

I thought we'd have to stay 3 nights or better, so I asked if there was an extra night available to get us to 3 nights. It was available, but not at a discount. I know that if we were staying 3 nights, our AAA rate would be around that $207.00 that you were quoted, because I had heard that there was a price break at 3 nights. It's not a big enough break to get us to add a night, and it doesn't seem like there's another discounted night even if we were to do that. Oh well, we'll just keep checking to see if something else comes up.

Possibly too close to 4th of July holiday? I don't know..but I do agree that the AAA rate seems the same as the Supersaver rate.
