never been on a cruise before let alone a disney cruise but just booked the 4/27 eastern cruise room 8100 my wife and 2 boys 9-7 i feel like were going to miss some things to do on and off the boat because were a bit rushed now. can someone please help us rookie cruisers what should i be planning before i get on the ship also what kind of clothes should we pack. thank you

Go to this wonderful site www.castaway.com Barb and John have an absolutley wonderful site. It will give you alot of info and insite on the cruise ships. This site is wonderful, ask anything and they will answer. Have fun!!!!:rolleyes:

For a detailed written explanation of the Disney Cruise Line, Entropy has a great site at: The Magical Disney Cruise Guide (http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/entropym/pages/)

Entropy has several versions of his work that can downloaded to your pc and printed or read at your leisure and it's highly recommended by myself and many other Dis cruisers.

Are you aware that Disney announced a special offer on Jan 17th for people working on the relief effort at the WTC?

I read about it here on the Dis Boards, the thread is at:

It's called 'Disney's American Heroes Special Offer' and it's on the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies Board.

I'm not sure if it applies to cruises but I hope it will help you with a lower cruise price. If it doesn't apply, I think they should amend it so that it does apply!
