Who is your hero? It could be a family member, a celebrity, anyone.

My family and Walt Disney.

Kate Winslet.
She's my role model, my inspiration (both creatively and personally) and my hero.
Because she has a family and a successful career, she's a truly brilliant actress and she stands up for what she believes in. Out of everyone in Hollywood, she's the only one who I truly admire. :lovestruc

I'd have to say Terry Fox for many different reasons. He believed in himself, he believed that he could run across Canada, and raise money for cancer, even though he had an amputated leg. Even though it seemed impossible for a normal person. And he made a little over half way.
He was an inspiring man. He's inspired so many people, especially people who are dealing with cancer in some way.
I've seen the movie that they made in his honor, about his run. I watch at least once a year.

Probably this guy I know named Curtis. Or this other guy named Tom.
Curtis;
Has been through so much. So, so much. And now he's changed. He's a hardcore Christian and he's amazing.
Tom;
Has been a hardcore Christian all his life. And he's had his rough spots.
They're both amazing role models. I dunno if i'd call them my heros, I don't really have heros. But they're amazing role models.

My mom.
And JK Rowling.
She's more of an inspiration and a role model to me, but she has changed so many lives so she is also a hero in my perspective as well.
I pretty much love Alan Cumming. He's just...so comfortable with himself. He's good with who he is. He doesn't hide things. He's an accomplished actor despite the fact that he's bisexual (currently married to his boyfriend) and that hurts careers because it's hugely controversial in the U.S. and I dunno. There's just this air about him that makes him so amazing and inspiring to me.

Hillary,Terry Fox kinda hits home for me cause he also had Osteosarcoma.
But needless to say your post made me smile. :)
He gives me hope that one day,I'll be able to run like that too.
Anyway, my mommy.
She's taken care of me ever since my diagnosis, and she hasn't given up on me once.
I'm sure she may have felt like it, but she's helped me to the washroom in the middle of the night, stay the night with me in the hospital, and done all my homecare.
Plus, she gave birth to me.
I think it's a written rule to admire your mother after that. ;)

C.S. Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien.
They were both amazing fantasy writers as well as strong Christians.
I have looked up to both of them ever since I was little.
I just love their work.
