Cricut Rebate Free Cart

Has anyone received their free Cricut cart from the rebate promo? I just received a shipping notification from Creative Express by email, that a package has shipped to me via FEDEX. I have not placed an order with them in awhile and I don't remember a backorder. Could this possibly be the rebate offer? :confused3 If it is the rebate free cart, why it would be coming from Creative Express.

Well, it is Saturday and Creative Express is closed and I can't phone them to see what it is. I guess I will have to wait to Monday. :rolleyes1

I think CreativeXpress is the official online shopping site for Provo Craft. I don't know if PC owns CreativeXpress or what. That's why they stopped selling Sizzix, because PC didn't co-own Sizzix anymore. And I think I read on either Twopeas or the Cricut board that they are handling the distribution of the free cart.

I just noticed that my CC has been charged for the $14.95 by Creative Express (twice - I sent in two forms :)). Hopefully they'll be here soon!!!

Me too. I will have 4 free ones by the time I'm done. Two from carts I bought and two from carts my MIL and GMIL got me for christmas. :)

We'll have to get a swap thread going to trade our duplicates if we end up with any. ;)

My package from Creative Express came today. It was my free rebate cart:woohoo: I received Stamped. It was not my first choice, I believe it was either my 2nd or 3rd, but that's ok. I have one more free cart coming and I am hoping for All Mixed Up next time.

I paid by check and my check has not been cashed yet either. But I received email notification of shipment and did receive today. I thought that was odd they shipped before check cleared.

I went back in my email and found that I did get one shipping notification. They did two charges, same day, but I only got one notification. I wonder if they combined my carts into one package? The pkg is supposed to arrive the 25th. Can't wait!

Printing was like my 3rd choice on one form, Community was like my last on both forms. Oh well! I am going to see if I can bring it to Mike's or HL for store credit and if not, ebay ;)

Sounds good to me! So far I do not have duplicates, but again I may get a cart I don't need.

I mailed my rebates in two separate envelopes. The first was mailed on 12/17/07 and I received it on 1/23/08, got my second choice. The second rebate was mailed on 1/8/08 and I have not received it yet.

I don't think so. It took over a month for my first rebate to be processed. you will probably be notified any day now.

I mailed my rebate around the 18th of December and you see how long it took for mine. Just about a full month. I wouldn't sweat it yet.

I was looking for my copies last night but couldn't find them to figure out which choices I actually got.

My MIL sent hers in on Monday so we'll see what else I end up with.

PO3, I sent mine in the week before you and I haven't heard anything either, so I wouldn't be too worried yet.

The thing I am worried about is...I bought 4 carts from Creative Xpress on the same receipt so I sent in one form with my one receipt with payment for two rebate carts and listed my choices. Some of you sound like you sent yours in separately. I never found any directions for ordering more than one, so since they were all on the same receipt together, I sent in the rebate together. I hope I didn't mess that up. I don't know if I could even call CX and find out anything since it isn't a regular order.

I've been following this thread as I anxiously await my free cart. At first I wasn't getting too nervous about it since it seemed like those who had already gotten their cart had mailed in a bit before me. But now it's been six weeks, and I've heard nothing... no cart, no email, no cashed check. So now I'm starting to get nervous that it won't arrive. I mailed my rebate out on Dec 21. Anyone out there who sent theirs in on/after that date whose gotten their cart yet? Has anyone received their free cart recently?

I am still waiting for a cart I ordered and paid for a week before Christmas.
This was during the $27 each when you buy 4 sale.
Three of them came, the fourth is still yet to arrive.
I've called them.
Several carts are on major backorder.
I was told mine would be at their warehouse on the 26th, out on the floor by the 29th, and shipped a few days later.
I haven't gotten any shipping notice yet.

Nothing here for me, and I'm also still waiting for one of the carts on backorder that I got to be eligible for this deal. CustomCrops has been good about updates - it's ProvoCraft that isn't shipping them out. At any rate, it will be a nice little surprise when I get that backordered cart!

Couldn't get CE to answer the phone today. Left a message (as if they really respond). Their site does show that they are out of stock on the backordered cart I paid for, but the two carts at the top of my freebie list are both on there as in stock. It'd be nice to hear something.

For those still waiting for their free cart, I just wanted to let you know that I finally received mine yesterday :yay: I sent my rebate in on Dec 21, so it took quite a while. But I'm glad it finally arrived. I got Printing 101 which was my fourth choice.

I just talked to CE regarding my backordered cart from mid December. I was told a few days ago, that it was there and would be shipped, "today or tomorrow". Well, "tomorrow" was yesterday. So once again, it will be shipped "today or tomorrow".

During our conversation, we talked about the rebates. She said, "Today we started processing the ones from Dec. 31." Hopefully that gives you a little bit of an idea when you might expect yours. (I had mailed mine on the 31st.) Hopefully we will be processed any day now.

While I agree it is strange that they have a new offer already, remember that the original offer stated it would be 6-8 weeks til you received your cart(s). Some got them quicker, but try and hang in there :) I know, waiting sucks. :hug: Plus the new offer is for different carts, isn't it? So the supply would be different.

Yzerbear, do you remember the date you put it in the mail? Last Thursday, the lady in customer service said they were processing the mail received on 12-31. I just got an e-mail from them with a ship date of today expected delivery on Friday. I put mine in the mail on 12-31. Hope that gives you an idea of when you might hear something.

I'm assuming the aforementioned shipping notification was about the rebate carts. Last Friday I got an e-mail notice about the one I ordered in December (and should receive Wednesday-two months after ordering it) but hadn't received, so I'm thinking the rebate is the only thing it could be.

A manager at my Hobby Lobby commented that they are having a hard time getting shipments of cartridges.

so, i took my receipt and the new cart (put their price tag on it) and exchanged it for the mickey and friends cart.

not a problem. well within the 60 day exchange policy and it was the same packaging, etc.

it worked out quite well for me.

cheryl I still have my receipt from when I bought Paper Dolls from HL at the end of January and was keeping it in case my free cart ever comes and its one that I already have. I still haven't heard anything or received anything. Tomorrow will be 8 weeks since it was mailed. Very disappointing. :(

Sorry, new to this board. what cricut rebate? Do you get something when you buy the cart. or was it a one time thing? I just got a cricut a few weeks ago and have purchased 2 cart. (disney) but didn't see anything about a rebate.

It was a special holiday promotion. They offered another one with walmart in January, but I haven't heard of another since.

As for me, I got Going Places which was my first choice :woohoo: , although it is not as cute as I thought it would be, so I am not sure if I will ever use it! :rolleyes:
