View Full Version : Hilton Head Outlet Store - Going Out of Business

We were at the Hilton Head Island Outlet Store on Saturday. Everything is 40% off lowest ticket price. They are closing as of April 16th. The discount will be increasing weekly. The CM said they wouldn't be getting any new things. They are cleaning out the back room. They don't have any collectibles. She said the first thing they had to do was pack up all of them and ship them back. I did get a Cruella (with Mark Davis signature plate) snowglobe for $24.00.

They are closing several of the "Catalog" outlets.

I will be there on the 13th of April. The store will most likely be empty by then if no new shipments are coming in. :( Oh well, one of my favorite HH traditions is gone....

Anyone know if the one in Potomac Mills will close? Please NO! The closest TDS to me has already closed.

They gave me a list of the ones that are staying open. I don't have it with me, but will post as soon as I can.

Well, I'm not surprised. I was there one weekend last August and there was practically nothing in the Hilton Head Outlet store. It was certainly not what I expected.

My husband works at the Catalog Outlet in Potomac Mills and he told me about the Hilton Head one closing, but that was the only one he knew about. Potomac Mills is one of the top selling Catalog Outlet stores. No mention of any other ones closing. (yet) Guess there are only 7 stores left now.

I luv the one at Potomac Mills, it's a weekly visit for us. Glad to hear it's doing well. I would think as much as to how much my family spends in that store would keep it a float for years. :D

Doesn't surprise me either. I was there last June and couldn't believe the small amount of merchandise they had. Didn't take long to peruse that store...and left with very little. -HM

mrsdiznee, you may have seen my parents. They went down to HHI with some friends and went outlet shopping. They called me Friday night and told me about some of the deals they got at TDS. I sent them right back on Saturday for us. They were shopping while telling us on the cell phone. We got lots of great deals!!
