Could anyone tell me whether there is a "deep end" in either the Portofino or Royal Pacific pools? Our kids are getting older and actually like to swim, and I found the Hard Rock pool was too shallow for them (although we loved the music and the atmosphere!)
Thanks very much,

I am concerned now about the Hard Rock...how deep is the deepest end? My kids are teenagers and want water over their heads not up to their chests....

i don't think HRH goes deeper than 4 or 5 ft.

I was very disappointed in the pool at HRH we stayed just 1 night in August. The rest of our holiday was in a private villa & I was looking forward to a good swim.
We spent a few hours at the HRH pool and most of the pool was maybe 2 1/2 to 3 feet deep - much too swallow for me. There was an area at one end that was 4 1/2 but not a very large area. I found the pool at RPR was about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 feet deep in most areas except around the entry points. It was much more enjoyable for swimming. But the HRH pool has a slide that my son did not get off of the whole time we were there!
