The people, followed by the otters and the peacocks -- not to mention the wild turkeys. I think the turkeys are trying to move the otters right out

I love looping in the golf cart, siting on the beach drinking a beer watching MK fire works, Hearing the horns on the boats.

I had to choose other because I can't pick one favorite. We love the campground, the people, the activities and the boat transportation. We try to take full advantage to all the fort has to offer.

My favorite thing is seeing rv's coming in and getting in to their site (without backing into everything) I hate seeing our neighbors go and us go as well.

Shannone are you snowed in or what girl? You are good at doing the polls though. Keep em comin. Maybe you can put official poll writer below your name. Kinda like BigDisneyDaddy's official cook to Miss Sundee and Burl stand in, which btw he is neither. MrsGus I think is the official Miss Sundee everything. Scott's gonna kill me now.

Although I agree with what many have said.. I did choose the campsite. My first reason was because it just is magical to be there at all. BUT my main reason is that at the end of what can only be a very long day, when you're entering the loop and you're feet hurt, and you swear you can't go on, you look and see your campsite and it's decorated with your stuff and you suddenly become very grateful that you have the intelligence to know that camping is one of the greatest things that you can do for your family. You appreciate your time camping and you look around and see like minded people and know that in the supposedly "Happiest place on earth".... very few of those in attendance at "The World" find the truly "happiest place in the world": :worship: (Fort Wilderness)

Did I tell you that I got my catcher's mitt I ordered from SportsAuthority.com in the mail the other day. I can hardly wait for Little League to start. I am currently undefeated as a coach, although I haven't won many games either. In tee ball and fall ball, my record is an impressive 0-0-24.

I also voted for campsite for the same reasons as stated before. I love to just sit under the awning and enjoy all the sites and sounds of the fort.

I voted for the golf cart, because DS (5) and I love to go riding around (its a guy thing) but I would have to say that the fort would not be the same if any of the things listed were missing, it is true that the sum IS greater than its parts.
Did I stay on topic well enough? I dont want to be listed with all those other trouble makers.

I chose 'other' because it's the whole enchilada that I love; the CM's seem a little extra friendly there, the kennel CMs are so sweet and seem to really care about our dog, the way the fort feels like you're not across the way from a roller coaster, the campsites, the cleanliness, the lifelike bunny audioanimatronics on the 1500 loop, porches filled with people on rocking chairs and
Gator meat!!

Love the cleanliness and peacefulness (of course, I am sure it is much more peaceful before DH and I get there with our 4 kids and their friends). Sorry for anyone offended by the glitter filled water balloons. A few of them landed on the road and it looked like Tinkerbell had crash landed.

I chose "other" because there was no "all of the above" choice on the poll. :rotfl2: I can't single out just one thing. I love it all!
I am sick about our decision to not stay at FW next December. After our van broke down during our trip last month and had to be in the Car Care Center twice, we decided not to tow our camper to FW until we get a new tow vehicle. So, unfortunately and sadly, we'll be staying in one of the DVC resorts next December instead of our beloved Fort. Im not sure I'll survive it!:sad1:

Actually, I do have my own personal electric scooter (hubby's ECV) that I use like a golf cart around the fort, however, I found that I park hop so much, that when coming home in the evenings, the darn thing was always parked at the other end of the campground. It spent as many nights parked at either settlement or outpost as it did parked at my campsite. Also it takes up a lot of room in my truck. I'm going to try a bicyle next trip. (I found a cool bike rack that attaches directly to the hitch ball). (The bicycle and rack was less $$$ than 2 nights cart rental.) Maybe with the Studios stop moving to Outpost, it won't be as bad.

Hey, I am right with you! My girls in their first year were 1-24! My hopes are high for a better season, which, by the way, starts Feb. 5.

Ok, I will post on topic now...
I voted golf carts because we love to go and visit DIS'ers. I personally think that there should have been a combo vote...
I know, hard to please and all...I am woman, hear me roar! (At least that is what my HS girls on the softball team tell me I do!)
