Also playing last week was The Royal Tennenbaums and the Count of Monte Cristo (which was excellent, by the way)

Lord of the Rings is from New Line Cinema. AFAIK only films from Disney and Disney-owned studios (e.g. Pixar) are shown on board.

What times do the movies play on the 7 night cruise? We are sailing on Saturday 3/9 (only 4 more days.)

Actually, in a previous series of messages about movies (see http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=163089 ), kshabare reported that on the 2/9-2/16 Disney Magic cruise, the movies included Tomb Raider (released by Paramount Pictures) and Cats & Dogs (released by Warner Bros.). So not all movies are from Disney.

Also, allow me to make a slight correction regarding "Disney-owned studios (e.g. Pixar)." Although, so far, Disney has released all of Pixar's feature length movies, Pixar is not owned by Disney. When the current contract is up, Pixar could enter into a new contract with another movie releasing company, such as Dreamworks, Warner Bros., or Paramount.

Disney owns the following movie brands: Disney, Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, Miramax, and Dimension. (The last are owned by Disney, but are run by Miramax's management, not directly by Disney.)

Thanks Horace!
Yes mine was a careless post, but that's the great thing about this board; there's always someone who has the straight info, and I appreciate it!
