First two events of my year

okay so thinking about scrabooking my last yar album started with a nice trip to NH... so I was wonderinghmm what will this year start with probably my birthday right well nope..... My first event of the year I broke my toe!!! I only thought to take a picture once it was all taped up and everything. It was the stupidest thing I was walking out of the bathroom afterhelping my DD go potty and whack I slammed my foot into the wall. Oh that hurts joked with DH I think I broke my foot.... lol and behold three hours later after running errends limping and taking of my shoe one toes was a color purple I have never seen before... Oh well will make a funny first scrap book page for 2008. On another note we had a new member join our family. Maid Marion, the kitty, is now our newest member. The family had been working on my about getting a cat, but I never bonded with any that changed on Sunday and we brough her home last night. Happy early birthday to me. My husband was looking at cats with Disney names so Maid Marion fit the bill (besides I fell in love go figure LOL) So a little difficult to say but it has been her name her whole life. I don't know how numbered her days in the shelter were but now she doesn't have to worry.... now to just intro duce her to the dog....... :thumbsup2 Anyway that's my news

Wow!!! Sorry about the toe- I have broken many toes before (what can I say, I am clumsy) and it HURTS!!! :wizard: Pixie dust for a fast recovery! Congrats on Maid Marion, sounds like she is a good fit. Kitties are fun!

you sound like DH. He moves to fast! He spun around to fast once walked into the dining room door, 5 stitches in the eyebrow, 3 days later at a customer site he was coming out of the bathroom at the hotel and the door had swung slightly shut, wham, walked right into it, broke his nose. That would be break #8. LOL
I told him to slow down!

I'm sorry about the foot, I hope Maid Marion gets all cuddly and makes you feel better! So when do we get to see the newest addition to the DIS Family???

ooh ouch! I thought I'd broken my toe on New Year's Eve but it turned out it was just hurting like crazy *** it felt like causing me pain!

Two bits of advise; one take a picture of your toe as it bends, I bet the colors are going to be BEEEEauuuuutiful.

And second, go off the wagon and treat yourself to a little scrapping something to make you feel better. I'll go to the naughty mat for ya!:lmao:

Sorry about your toe, but congrats on the kitty! I hated cats until my DH brought one home as a surprise. Now I can't imagine my life without him!
