King Beds in Studios

We are new to DVC and have been following this board for a few months now. I don't believe I have seen this question addressed so I will present it here:

It appears that all the DVC studios have a Queen-sized bed. Am I correct in my assumption? If the answer is yes, why do they not have King-sized beds? Does anyone know?

I wondered if it was due to DVC wanting to look different than the motel and hotels who typically do offer Kings.....or maybe it's just a question of space.......or perhaps a question of $$$.

DH and I sleep in a Queen at our home so it's no big deal, but I HAVE enjoyed the extra space of a King when we have traveled and thought it might be nice to have that option at our "new" home.

All DVC studios have queen beds only. 2 in each room at OKW and 1 plus sleep sofa at BWV, HH, VB, VWL and BCV.

All DVC 1BR's have a king bed in the master bedroom- along with the jacuzzi, kitchen, washer/dryer, etc.

The 1BR and studios sleep the same number of guests, so the 1BR has the King for those who want that amenity.

As "home away from home" resorts, the studios are used as the second bedroom in a two bedroom unit, the master has the king sized bed.

I think this is perfect and how it should be.
